Terry Lined Microfiber Hotel Robe - Luxury Spa Bathrobe by Monarch/Cypress

The robe fits and feel just like my favorite spa robes. The exterior is smooth and silky to touch not bulky. The interior is a soft but not furry material as mentioned in the product description. The robe has substantial weight. It is plenty warm but not too hot. I do not like bulky robes nor hot furry robes. I am a medium framed 5’7” woman and usually wear a size 12 jacket for shoulder width and arm length. I ordered the size large. It is plenty roomy but not too big to be sloppy. I don’t want a spa robe to be too clingy or tight. I usually wear a 10 slack or 12 Jean. The large wraps well around my hourglass shape and I feel totally covered. The sleeve cuff is easy to roll back on its self to adjust sleeve length. At 5’7” the large robe strikes my leg at the lower 2/3 portion between my knee and ankle. If you wear a 10-12 then you are truly between a med and a large. Select your size based on preference for roominess in a robe. I don’t want a robe to cling so I went with a large. I am very pleased with the quality of this robe and with the quality based on the product price. The stone color is a great shade of beige/taupe...it is not a yellowish tone! I would highly recommend this robe.

This is a great robe! Heavy but not too thick and soft but still absorbent. Just came back here to bookmark because I will probably buy a second one and thought I would review with some info about fit because that's what I searched the reviews for before buying. I wanted this robe to be a little big on me, with the front panels completely overlapping and plenty of extra belt length, like the unisex robes in nice hotels. I thought small would fit pretty perfectly so I ordered medium for that extra space and it is EXACTLY what I wanted. It comes to mid-shin and is quite roomy without hanging off me. Love it! The stone color is nice too -- neutral and classy.

It is too long and bulky on my 5 foot frame. Too heavy. It is not sufficiently absorbent when donning after shower. The add said it was but it is definitely not. Though the lining is sewn at all edges, it still awkwardly bunches up and pulls. I’m about 180 pounds but the medium was the right size for me and still closed easily, so it is pretty roomy and does run on the larger size. It is clearly high quality in material and sewing. Feels and looks expensive. The tie stays in its loop and is high quality, too. Pockets are roomy. I must send it back since it is too much robe for me. Men would love this robe I think. Also, the robe would be so much more striking and beautiful with a white terry lining vs the lemon color. What’s up with that! Strange!

While it is fairly easy to find the all polyester version of this robe, this particular style, with a cotton/polyester terry lining, is not as widely available. I know, because I've been trying to replace my identical 13-year-old robe for several years. That's right, my original robe lasted 13 years and only needed to be replaced because I let a coffee stain set. Other than that, it still looked great. Here's hoping this new one lasts as long! I love this robe because it is long, warm, and attractive enough that I can wear it taking out the trash and not be embarrassed if my neighbors see me. I washed my old robe hundreds of times and it always looked fabulous coming out of the dryer. I don't think this would be a good robe to wear while you're wet; for that, an all-cotton terry robe would be better. However, as a standard robe to keep you warm, comfy, and looking decent while you have your coffee, this robe is superb. I'm so happy I found it here.

This robe is so cozy and feels like home. It’s not as soft as the ritz Carlton robes but for the price you can’t beat it.

I bought the robe after wearing it in two different hotels. This robe did not feel the same quality. The peached fabric felt cheap, and thinner, like a bad polyester. The terry loop interior was very uncomfortable when put on after a shower: not absorbent, slick and slimy against the skin. The fabric did not breathe and the robe became uncomfortably warm. The outer shell did not line up well with the inner lining. If this is what they gave me in the hotel, I would never have ordered it. Disappointed; item was returned. Others apparently feel the same way.
