Is this model t being sold by the official trezor company or by resellers? how can we know a scammer isn't selling compromised wallets?

The only official reseller in North America is The Crypto Merchant. They are the largest authorized Trezor partner in the US. Any wallet listed by The Crypto Merchant is 100% legit.

Had a trezor that i lost, if i buy the trezor t can i recover my coins on that with my recovery seed or do i have to get the regular trezor like i had

You can recover your coins on any wallet that supports BIP44. The recovery seed is the key to unlock your private keys. The trezor is one of the best options on the market.

Will trezor t work with exodus wallet on i phone?  will it work on a google chromebook?

The Trezor T works with Exodus desktop. Whatever you have on your Tezos T wallet, when you connect it with Exodus, Trezor T coins will be displayed on your desktop Exodus wallet. Again, that  means coins that are stored on Exodus and the coins stored in your  will be displayed in the Exodus wallet. The iPhone Exodus wallet only displays coins that are loaded on your desktop Exodus wallet. The iPhone doesn’t display coins stored in your Trezor T wallet. There is no direct interface with Trezor T and the iPhone. The iPhone only shows what is in your Exodus wallet not the Trezor T. As far as I know, there is no iPhone app for Trezor T and you cannot connect your iPhone to the Trezor T..

Is it normal for the seal to peel off a little at the corner? I ordered a replacement anyway.

It might sometimes happen. It is basically technically impossible to "hack" the device itself, it never happened and hardly will. Every time you connect the Trezor to the computer for an update on trezor.io, we check FW+HW , update the old one, etc, so, it would detect any problem. Also, the device cant really send anything anywhere.

The only scam running around regarding HW Wallets is phishing sites where victims enter their seed on the computer or very straightforward scam where someone opens the box and puts it nice looking sheet with predefined SEED with instructions on how to use it. The attacker then has the same seed and will simply move the coins elsewhere.

But in this environment, we want to be extra sure and that is why the seal is in place so ordering replacement is definitely recommended.
