Big things come in small packages
I wasn't sure what to expect from purchasing a sound bar off the internet without hearing it first but I was pleasantly surprised. When I picked the bar and the sub, I was in disbelief at how light it was. How could something so light even remotely sound good, especially without a large driver... I was definitely WRONG! This system brings the room to life with brilliant immersive sound and a beautifully deep bass response!!I couldn't be happier with my purchase and this solidified my loyalty to this brand! I will be upgrading soon! I just wanted to get a taste before eating the full meal! WOW!

Awesome just as shown
Very clear sound bass balance out when you turn up the volume. Overall worth the money. Can't stress enough how clear the sound is. I mean you hear everything. See for yourself LOL I did.

Very solid performer!
So an honest review.....The rock bar works well, I use it with my Vizio D class TV hooked up to the HDMI (arc port). When I first turned it on with my T.V. it did not have any volume at all. I went into my T.V. settings for sound and changed the digital audio out to PCM and the bar started working. The bar will not work on any other setting, I tried them all.The other thing that happened is that I can not use the volume control for the T.V. at all. I am on dish network and have my remote set to the T.V. but that volume control does not work either. I tried to make my dish remote "learn" the other remote provided with the Rock bar but it would not learn that remote, so, I have to use the Rock bar's remote to turn the sound up and down, not a huge deal but it is a little frustrating having to use multiple remotes, hence the reason for the one star being taken away!I also use my Alexa Echo dot on the AUX input of the rock bar and it plays music quite well, it will not distort at full volume and the bass from the sub does really well for its size. I was left with wanting a little more volume but not so much so that I could say anything bad about it.I tried it out on all kinds of different music, from country to Metallica, Pink floyd, Manhiem Steamroller for strings and I was not disappointed, it even handled the bass from a Techmaster PEB album. It did however have a little trouble reproducing the bass in the song One by Metallica at full volume when the double kick drums go wild it had a little bit of a hard time but again, not enough for me to take away any points.Movies play very well and the sound is amazing. Overall, the Rock bar is very solid for sound, worth the money for sure. I would recommend this product.

Great sound sketchy sub
Bought this sound bar maybe 2 years ago since I bought it the sound is fantastic no dispute crisp clear no crackling when it's cranked up. It is a 2.1 but with 5.1 range I feel, certain movies will trigger the surround sound effect to where I can hear the sound on the side of me if that makes sense. My only issue is that sub continously disconnects either in ideal mode which it what it's supposed to do it just Won't turn back on, or it will disconnect during use and everything sounds awful. So when it doesn't connect the only way to get ot to reconnect is to unplug it wait amd lug it back in very annoying. I thought it was the distance at first it was about 10 feet away. It's now roughly 3 feet away and still faults out. All in all it is worth the money like I said when it's all on its thumpin and sounds amazing just annoying when you have to unplug the sub amd replug so many times

Loud and clear
Totally impressed with I rh the quality of sound especially at this price point. Loud and clear with nice tight bass from sub. I'm a no frills guy, so stereo is great for me, and set up with optical was a snap.

This is one of the best purchases that I have made in a long time! ( If not ever ).
First let me say this; I do not normally write reviews because of the busyness of my day at work etc. but I had to stop to do this for as many people that may be or are even now contemplating buying this unit. I did much research comparing products on line and even going to stores like "Best Buy, P.C. Richards" as well as on line at "Target, Walmart, Ebay, and of course Amazon", which I have been a prime member and customer for quite some time. Going to actual stores did not help me because I was unable to hear any of the options I chose in the price range that I was looking for ( $200 or less ) because only the Bose's and JBL'S and Sonos etc was connected which is how I really made my final decision.Rockville's live demonstration of the sound quality is really the sound that you get with this system. The only problem that I had was pairing the subwoofer and the soundbar which I believe was partly ( if not mostly ) my fault for not reading the instructions entirely but once I got past that it was smooth sailing. I really cannot believe the rich and robust bass along with the high's and distinct sounds of every instrument that is being played including vocals. I have only used the bluetooth option which is paired to my "fire stick" which plays all of my movies and music etc. and man all I can say is that I am so glad that I chose this system.I gave this system 5 stars for Sound quality, Value for money, and Sheerness because in every category it exceeds far beyond it's price of $139. I truly believe that this system can compete with many of the high end brands on the market today. You can't miss something that you never had, and for me I don't feel as though I missed out on buying another system spending more money when I have this one that suffices and even exceeds what I thought it to be! Way to go Rockville! I definitely would purchase this again and am purchasing another as a present for a friend! Oh, and by the way, Can I become a "paid spokesman and representative for the rockbar"?Just kidding. I have already started marketing and promise to upload a video of me rocking to the beat with my rockbar! I don't know where all of the negative reviews came from or how but that is not my story!
