Trees By Post Silver Birch Trees (Betula pendula) x 4

Item as described. Arrived promptly. Planted up in pot on receipt, growing well now.

I bought 4 of these earlier in the year and I have to say I have as a little disappointed buy the initial size. The trees were at most 18" tall with a tiny plug of soil so I was a little sceptical about how they'd do although they all appeared healthy enough and I figured for the price I'd not lost a great deal so I planted hem in the garden.That was about 12 weeks ago, all 4 trees are doing really well, 3 of them are now about 36" tall and 1 which gets a little more sunlight is over 4 feet, all in under 3 months. Really can't fault them.

Tree delivered will packaged and in good condition, size as expected. Clear instructions. You will need to provide some support for protection against wind. Appears to be growing well, new leaf formation etc. See picture for size at the time of delivery. Update - 12 months later and the tree is growing strongly with multiple shorts and has grown in height by 10+ inches. Expect the growth to continue at a rate of between 1.5 - 2 foot per year for the first few years. The trunk is developing but likely to need a stake for the first few years.

Planted the tiny fragile little tree today in its tube and added a wooden stake at the side for extra support using the little plastic tie back supplied. I just hope it will be okay. The seller was very helpful and reassuring. It is in an empty space in the corner of my my front garden

The silver birch tree I purchased was not much bigger than an spaghetti stick. I did not get that impression when I ordered it. Quite misleading information, or the lack of it. Just a few years of grown it and I will then have what I thought I ordered in the first place.

These are like sticks in the ground! I'm hoping they grow but I think it will be a fair while till they're a good height which is a shame as I ordered them to cover an ugly corner of my garden
