My husband broke my coffee press (2.00 brand new at a yard sale) years ago while working in the kitchen, and had promised me a new one. It was glass and rather fragile. Skip forward about 10 years and all but forgetting about having one again when I came across this stainless steel one. AHA! NOT fragile at all. It is very very nice looking, and came with---> a stainless grinder!, an extra screen!, and a very heavy stainless measure spoon! Along with a 20% off coupon, all was had for 19.00 and some change. This would also make a lovely gift. Made very well, thick insulated wall construction keeps your coffee hot while steeping. VERY pleased. (I don't get out much, so I get rather giddy over the simpler things)

Used for keeping my coffee mug warm and it worked great for that. Stopped working after 4 months of daily use.

I'm an avid tea drinker with small children (so my tea is constantly getting cold to attend children). Didn't know how much I needed this until I bought it. I bought warmer #1. Loved it. Keeps my tea HOT for a good period of time. Im always unplugging it to take with me to other rooms in the house so I decided to get a 2nd. Now, I made the mistake of trying another, more expensive brand. I literally returned it the next day... my tea didn't stay hot at all... it stayed warm but not nearly as warm as I prefer. I then turned around to purchase another warmer from this brand, warmer #2. I didn't give this warmer a 4 star rating ONLY because I like how some of the other brands/ types of warmers have lights. I find myself fumbling around at night to place the mug on the warmer. But as far as functionality, I couldn't be more satisfied.

I've broken numerous glass french presses and finally made the switch to this stainless steel one. It's sturdy and sleek - and the double walls means that it keeps the coffee warm much longer than my previous presses. Finally, the coffee burr is such a great perk - it's as useful as the coffee press. Great value!

The warmer stopped working completely after 30 days will not turn on at all !

My wife and I went through several (more than 5 easily) glass French presses in the past, not knowing that Stainless steel was an option, with any singe one of them we had issues, one broke when we were pressing the coffee (yes... big mess), others the plastic parts will come out or break, others the steel parts will not be correctly screwed or was hard to have a point where they were actually set for not to come out after cleaning, specifically the bottom mesh part and the little stop "nut" on the end.After the first whole use of this one, pour hot water, drink coffee and clean, my wife and I looked at each other and said, "Why in the world have we not bought one of these to begin with". Seriously, the insulation is awesome, gets a little warm but incomparable to any glass, is durable, we have kids at this has fallen to the floor already, and the ease of cleaning, the "nut" and the end is actually permanent, so you just unscrew the mesh parts, clean and screw back in not worrying about going to far that will become loose. Price is great too, so really I think this is the best buy you can get.

Pros: all metal with no plastic, silicone, or rubber parts; fairly easy to clean; you get what you pay for.Cons: fair workmanship, crude finish, some sharp edges, brushed finish, doesn’t keep sufficient heat for more than an hour.
