1/3rd the cost of Peak Designs for 9/10's of the function/value.
This is a pretty good bag!I *can* fit a laptop in it, as long as it's no bigger than 13 inches and is rather slim... a tablet would fit much better. I took off 1 star because of this... it's not quite perfect - almost.I'm able to fit my pentax K1 w/ battery grip and lens, however it's a bit too wide to sit down inside the padded area with the battery grip, but it's still very well protected if the bag is all zipped and closed.Overall this bag is amazing for the price. It's very "low key" and unassuming - perfect for my camera gear. I think only Peak Designs make a better bag.I have 4 lenses in the bag currently: Pentax 28-200mm F3.8 , Pentax kit lens 8-105mm F3.5, Sigma DG 28-70 F2.8 and a Sigma 70-300 F.35 lenses. It would be possible to fit another lens but I am taking up that space with other things.I really wish this bag was slightly wider in the internal padded section and had a better laptop area but otherwise it's hard to criticize.

My favorite bag (for now....)
I already have a large DSLR bag from Ape Case so I know that they make good quality stuff. First off, here's what I can hold in my bag:- 1x Nikon D7100 with or without battery grip- 1x 17-50 f2.8 or 11-16 f2.8- 1x 50-150 f2.8 or 1x 70-200 f2.8 (although it'll be a tight fit)- maybe another small prime lense- battery charger- rocket blower (mini)- filter pack- camera strapEverything fits nicely inside and I love the fact I can open the zipper on the top and take out my camera without having to unlatch the flap. The construction is excellent and the fabric looks like it can handle a little roughness. I mainly use it for quick trips where I'll be shooting most of the time and need something to go in and out of quickly. The inner dividers are adequate to protect my gear and the yellow interior makes it easy to see my stuff.I highly recommend it.

Camera case
Made very well. I thought it was going to be bigger. It fits my Nikon D5300 with small lense. I have two large lenses and a battery charger and two extra batteries. I cannot fit all I thought would fit in case.

Well thought and designed. Spacious yet messenger size bag.
This is a high quality bag. The padding provide more than sufficient protection from impact. i carry a sony a6000 with the kit lens, a zoom lens and 2 prime lens, some filters and other small accessories. With all that stuff, i still have space for some small items. Stroller pass-thru is a great utility feature, you will appreciate it if you travel alot with your camera bag. The shoulder strap is comfortable and will not slip off from your shoulder. i liked the quick access zip on the top which eliminates the hassles and give you instant access to your camera when you need.P.S: Can you hike some place with this bag? no i would suggest get a back pack with camera compartment. Lowepro has some good bags in that category.

Great Case
The Ape Case Large Messenger bag is all it is billed to be. Great look, great camera protection and well constructed yet light weight. The case easily accommodates my Nikon DSLR along with flash, 3 lenses (50MM, 18-55MM and 55-300MM) and other accessories. The yellow interior provides great contrast to contents of the case making selection of gear much easier in low light situations. The zippered cover allows easy access to your camera and lenses without the need to open the entire case. Another big plus is the stretch gusseted sides of the cover. They keep the case open allowing you to access to the case without holding the cover open with one hand.I highly recommend this case.

My Go-to Case for Tech and Photo
This is a convenient and good sized case and at a great price. I have one other Ape Case which is for a large telephoto lens. They are of a great quality which comes close to the old Kata bags, but at a lower price point. This is a pretty good size, so not exactly small or discrete, but will hold a lot of gear, but a small laptop or tablet. I use it for work on days when I also want to carry some camera gear. The padded dividers are plenty thick and very adjustable to fit different equipment sizes and configurations. It is now my "go-to" case for tech and photo.
