I bought this ukulele for a first timer learner and I would have to say it's amazing! First the sound is strong and loud, I usually have to adjust the nut or bridge to get the action just right but this one was perfect. The craftsmanship is amazing. The fret board is smooth and the finish is perfect. The tuning pegs work nicely, ive played it for about 2-3hrs right out the box and the strings have stayed in tune. It comes with a ton of goodies including; very nice gig bag (was extremely surprised how good the padding was on it), a clip on tuner, ukulele strap, extra strings and a nifty little manual that can give you a heads start on learning a few simple songs and some music theory. This ukulele is definitely the best one you can get at this price and I'd say it's probably the best ukulele you can get at $120 and below. If you are just starting out or buying a ukulele for someone just starting out then this is the way to go! Overall I'm extremely happy with this purchase and I would urge you to pick this ukulele over all the rest!

Wow - this ukulele really surprised me. The fit and finish is impeccable. I couldn't find a flaw anywhere! The rosewood body appears to be SOLID rosewood - unheard of at this price. The grain on the inside matches the grain on the outside. It even smells like rosewood. The frets are well dressed with no sharp edges. Even the tuning was almost dead on out of the box. The tone is great - warm and mellow.Now for the rest. The tuning machines have a slight amount of "play" in them. Not too bad, and they don't slip. The action was on the high side (again, not too bad), which is better than being too low. It took me 5 minutes to sand down the saddle and now the action is perfect for me. The accessories are nothing to write home about, especially the capo. I won't be using it as it feels like it is about to snap (cheap plastic). The tuner is fine - it's your typical $10 clip-on tuner. The strap is serviceable but may be a bit short for taller (or rounder) people. The instruction manual has a number of rather humorous translation errors, but is still useful for a beginner.The instrument itself makes these other minor issues insignificant. I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I decided to take a chance on a recently noticed brand and I am glad I did. It comes with the complete bundle so you are ready to play immediately. The rosewood finish is nearly flawless and top is a real attention getter! The frets are perfectly smooth, markers on front and sides. It tuned up in just a couple days and holds its tuning very well. It has a nice resonance and voice. The action is set so its easy to play up and down the neck. Not as loud as some but put a pick to it and it speaks right up. When I'm in the market again, I will certainly give Paisen a good look.

The media could not be loaded.  The Paisen Rosewood Concert Ukulele is well made with a number of attractive features, including a gorgeous binding, closed geared tuners and an extended stylized fretboard. The kit that comes with it has everything you need to start playing the ukulele, and the price is affordable. They do go on sale every now and then, so watch for sales.Action (string height) is quite good, although the nut is a little more narrow than usual, and string spacing is a touch tight...but if you are used to playing ukuleles with a 35mm nut, you won’t be bothered at all. If you prefer a wider nut, this will not be the ukulele for you.The big issue was intonation, which was confusing as everything else about the ukulele seemed right. Well, the strings themselves were the issue. I replaced the ukulele with Martin M600 fluorocarbon strings (For Soprano and Concert ukuleles) and the intonation issue went away, and I have heard from other buyers who have experienced the same issue and found the same solution.So...the big question is...do you like how this looks? If so, buy with confidence, but plan to order other strings...I’d suggest the M600s. It isn’t unusual to replace ukulele strings right away...and there are many tutorials on the internet that will show you how to do it (and yes you can do it...and save yourself a lot of money versus going to a shop to have it done for you).

This Ukulele was surprisingly a lot nice than I expected. I bought this for my dad for Christmas, and when I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised. The hand laid wood details make this look really unique and classy. I don't play, but within 10 minutes of opening his gift, my dad had it tuned up and started figuring out how to play some songs. It sounded great and we all had a lot of fun. The kit came with a tuner, a book, a nice quality case, and a bunch of other little gadgets like picks, a bridge, and other stuff. Really pleased and so was he.

Firstly, I love the appearance and that it comes with so many amenities. beautiful ukulele, I loved it since I unpacked it !. beautiful sound and is built in such a way that you do not have to press the strings too much to play music! beautifull color. excellent quality compared to the price! completely satisfied!

This was a gift for my teen stepdaughter. It is very beautifully made, sounds great, and looks much more expensive than it was. It came with everything she needed (except lessons lol!). She is enjoying it very much!
