PILOTFrixion Ball Knock 4-Color Gel Ink Multi-Pen, White (LKFB-80EF-W)

I absolutely love the pen!!!!! The Frixion erasable pen itself is a game-changer for me. I'm a nurse who also has a bit of OCD lol. The multi-color and erasable aspect of the pen makes this perfecttttt! I love that I can get the pen refills to refill the individual pen inks instead of my past non-erasable and non-refillable pens where I have to try to finish off the other remaining colors before I move on to another pen (or worse - swap out to a different pen and have the remaining ones sitting there just be unused). Refilling is easy (twist off the pen cover and use a tiny bit of force to pull out the pen ink you want to replace and just stick the new one on and cover it back up). The only downside to this is if you write A LOT, the ink does run out pretty quick compared to usual pens. The eraser bit on top of the pen is really good and sturdy - I can see that it did slowly wear down a bit, but there's still a good amount to the eraser that I feel would last for at least another year (bought this pen Jan 2023). I've had multiple co-worker nurses ask me what pen I was using and I've also gifted many of them different color covers of this pen (blue, pink, pink gradient - there's more pen cover colors available!) and they also love it a lot.

I have been using this pen for about a week now and I love it. It is easy and convenient to use. I have been using other Frixion pens for years and I love those as well, but I was tired of having multiple pens on my desk in class for detailed note taking.As others have noted, the ink does run out quickly (probably within a week or two with frequent use), but this is expected since the pen fits 4 colors and is only a little larger than the normal 05 Frixion pens. The larger size of this pen makes note taking more comfortable for me.I have read that some customers received gray ink instead of black-- I received black. Frixion's black generally tends to not be as dark as a non-erasable pen might be, but it is still black in color.The only drawback is that it is quite difficult to find refills for this pen because it takes much smaller refills than any of the other single-refill Frixion pens. This isn't a problem with the pen itself which is why my star rating does not reflect this issue.It can be quite difficult to navigate the many reviews and FAQs to find the refill you need.When I figure out the exact refill this pen takes, I will update my review to include those product numbers.I'm finding it even harder to locate the correct green refill, so I may cut back on my usage of that color.

This pen works just right for the purpose I purchased it. The colors are gray, blue, red, green. The ink writes smooth and sharp. In general, I am not a huge fan of multicolored pens for the reason that one color also dies first, typically black, and that is what has just happened with the grey ink in this pen that I purchased. I may have had it for 2 months now. I expect that so I wont take away any stars for that. It comes with the multicolored pen territory. I will likely purchase again the same or similar pen or hunt for refills. Btw, I love Frixion!Second purchase: The ink did not last long at all. By maybe the 3rd day of usage, only green and red worked. I've been down to only red for a while, and it has now died on me. After my first purchase, I order refills. The refills last a little while or don't last. I'm getting ready to make my 3rd purchase. I hope this one will work as long as my first purchase....

Works ok.. the ink isn’t that dark for all 4 colors.. but will keep bc it’s a pretty decent pen, very light, feels comfortable in hand, eraser works good.

I got this pen a few weeks ago and I use it every day at work. I even bought 20 refills. I have to mark up a lot of documents, and I like to color code the reasons behind my writing, so I need a 4-color pen. I have 4 or 5 of the old school 4-color Bic pens, and the green and red dried up on me after a few months. So, I bought one of these Frixion pens. Simply amazing. You can even erase with it, and there is NO ERASER GRIT (I think the heat from the friction...frixion, get it?...causes the ink to disappear). I've let half a dozen people at work try it, and it's funny to watch them swish away the non-existent grit. Anyway, I love this pen so much I'm buying another to use at home. One other thing, you don't have to press very hard (in fact it the ink flows better if you don't). Awesome pen!The only negative is that the black ink is a little faint, kind of charcoal gray-ish. Nonetheless, it's still a 5-star pen.

I have used one of these pens before (From a DIFFERENT seller) and I loved the pen. I ordered three of these and was very excited to have a stockpile of my favorite pen. The pens arrived today and as soon as I started using them, I noticed the ink was barely showing up on the page. I twisted open the pen to see the ink levels and ALL of the colors were EMPTY!! I then tore open the other two pens I purchased from this seller and they were empty as well. I am completely annoyed by the utter lack of quality and consideration this seller has for their prospective clients. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MERCHANT. (The pen itself is lovely, just buy from a different seller so you will actually have ink in the pen.)

They truly erase the ink. They come in several colors in the singles. The 4 color on one is great, just a little thick to hold on my hand, but I still use it daily. I do prefer the single color pens on this brand/style because they fit in my small hands a little better and more comfortable to use. I do wish the 4 in one came in different color scheme options. I have not tried it, but they do sell ink refills for these pens. I've considered making my own color scheme using the refills, just the color push downs won't match, so I'd have to remember. As much as I write at work and in a day planner the many appointments I manage for my family and for the family I work for (private home health), I'll never purchase another style pen. Very handy and more convenient than using white out when appointments change. Ink dries instantly and does not smear or rub off like pencil.
