Spot-X Hard Water Stain/Spot Remover - 7 Ounces

The product is great and really removes the water stains (5 stars). However, this seller didn't provide the cleaning pads that should come with this product which is why I'm giving this 3 stars. Make sure to read all the details before ordering. Thankfully, I still had the cleaning pads from a previous order.

Works but VERY expensive

I bought this product to remove hard water stains from my home's windows. My sprinklers were hitting a couple of the windows for months and I didn't know it would be a problem... Boy, was I wrong. I tried every home remedy and cleaning hack I could find and had absolutely no luck. That's when I decided to turn to Amazon and placed an order for Spot-X Hard Water Stain/Spot Remover. It arrived very quickly, unfortunately not as quick as the harsh Colorado winter, to my dismay I would have to look at those hard water stains until it was warm enough to take down the windows again. It was 5 months of pure torture. But, today I was finally able to start my window project and I am utterly amazed at how quick and easy it was. I used one of the pink scrubbies that I keep around for cleaning my glass stove top, it only took a few seconds of scrubbing to see the hard water stains lifting away. At first, I was scared that the stains would just come right back once I dried the window, but they didn't. I have now redirected my sprinkler heads, but I feel comfortable knowing that I still have almost a full bottle of this stuff just in case.

I spent hours researching the best hard water remover. However, I tested it on my built-in soap dispenser (from my newly renovated kitchen) and it stripped the wrought iron finish off and now it has a copper tone...Very disappointed! They should have to replace my soap dispenser.

This might work on some glass or counter, but it did NOT work on my shower with or without the pad. It makes such a mess too. I tried using a lot, using a little, and putting a heap of elbow grease in to get the spots off, but it just did not work. My shower door is only a few years old and I have hard water, so there are hard water spots. If it could not get my hard water spots off, I don't consider it a good product.

I think how this works is not only having cleaning components but mechanical. By that I meant, it's just a very fine grit paste that doesn't have large enough particles to scratch glass. It's still a lot of work. I'd only try after CLT fails you

Works great! We have really hard water and most products that claim to remove soap scum and hard water barely clean anything off our shower doors. I was skeptical at first, but once I saw how well it was working I couldn't have been happier with my purchase. It didn't remove all of the build up the first time around (probably about 95%, which is a great amount to me), but if I would have gone back over it a second time or worked at it a little longer I have no doubts it would have come off.

I'm just amazed how great this product is.After 18 years of hard-water (in Sammamish, WA area) ruining our shower glass enclosure to the point of not being able to see through the glass any more and sprinkler system leaving water spots on the kitchen window and spending hundreds of $ on different products at Home Depot to get rid of the issue, finally I found Spot-X and used it with "Power Scrubber Scumbusting Scrub Pad" attached to my drill (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FL9VWQQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).I must say, it 100% removed every Hard-water spot. My shower glass looks like day-one (brand new) 18 years ago and the kitchen glass is spotless. I also used in toilet bowl to get rid of the hard-water ring. It worked too.I must say, the only reason I took the time to write this review is to help others who are dealing with the same issue I had. And also many thanks to those who wrote reviews to help me give this product a try. This product practically saved me thousands of $ (as I was thinking to replace the shower glass, tiles, etc).I cannot thank enough those who came up with this product.
