Highly recommend for the price!
2010 Iron 883. I was hesitant to buy this due to some of the reviews but I am here to tell you, it was totally worth it! If you have this in your cart or watch list, just buy it before they stop making them! Great packaging honestly, everything was padded and wrapped and didn't have a scratch on it. Came with all the mounting hardware needed as well. The first thing I noticed was the quality of the product. Its heavy duty, the mat black finish was great and the mounting holes, and taillight cut outs were aligned just perfect! It took a little extra convincing to get the rack, sissy bar and side plates to align just perfect to get the bolts through but a shot of whiskey and swearing helped alot. The pad is actually pretty thick and was easy to mount to the sissy bar. Not sure how long with little screws will last holding it in but for now they're good. Once installed securely on the bike it felt very strong! Put my lady on the back and we took off! She made it home so it did its job. I wouldn't hesitate to strap a bag, auxiliary tank or supplies to the rack with a passenger and hit the road. Seems like it will last very well and looks great too!

better than expected
Nice and sturdy. I like the styling of the side plates and the mat black - most are gloss.. It's bigger than I thought it would be, but that's good for me.I won't be using it for a passenger so I can't comment on the comfort of the backrest.Install took 15 min. Like everything on a bike, don't totally tighten down anything until its all loosely assembled. You will need some wiggle room to line everything up.

Good customer service
Overall it was pretty simple and easy to figure out the install. I had some issues with peeling but th customer service quickly addressed my issues! The backrest is solid and sturdy

Installation is difficult
There are no instructions...how does the pad attach to the sissy bar, there are no pre drilled holes or supports in the pads' wood. The bar is nice and strong, but help put it together!

Sturdy, Solid, fit perfectly, rider complaint
Product seems to be sturdy and well made. Fits well on the bike. Primarily bought for luggage rack and also for passenger comfort. Just below the backrest where the luggage rack meets backrest support bars metal sticks out and beyond poking into the riders back. My kids don’t care about it however it seems to hurt and cause issues with passengers. See photo.

2nd one came perfect
Was just thrown into a box, paint chipping all over, 3 bolts, 2 nuts and 3 screws, all loose with zero instructions. *UPDATE* They sent replacement and it was packaged super well and everything is perfect. I believe the first one that came was a return that got mixed in.
