I’m really happy with this matcha 🍵💗 The taste is smooth and pleasant, not bitter, and it blends well with milk. It gives a nice clean matcha strength without being overwhelming, and it feels like such a calming little ritual for me 🌸✨ The color and overall “beauty” of the drink is amazing too — it looks so pretty, especially when I make it with milk and a creamy topping. I also think this would make a lovely gift for any matcha lover because it feels special and high quality 🎁💗 One big reason I’m so excited is that I love matcha without ice because of sensitive teeth, and so many places around me (even matcha-focused cafés) don’t really offer a true no-ice option. So I prefer making it at home where I can control everything — warm, creamy, and exactly my style ☁️🍵💗 The only thing I didn’t expect is how small the jar is. The listing says it should be about 20 servings, and we’ll see, but I drink matcha twice a day, so realistically it may last around 10 days or about a week. Still, it’s so tasty and enjoyable that I’m satisfied, and I’m happy I can finally make my perfect Strawberry Matcha with Einspänner cream at home 🌸💗✨

I have been drinking matcha for many years, 20 or more, and this is top of the line. Incredible taste, fragrance and color. Mellow, grassy, smooth, not at all bitter, just right. If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend.

I am a beginner Matcha enthusiast and I love i making matcha lattes at home (my favorite is Strawberry Matcha lattes). I have repurchased Superior Ceremonial 3× now. I am on my second 3.5 oz bag. I've also tried another well known popular affordable matcha (Jade Leaf) and I immediately decided it is better to splurge accouple more dollars in purchasing Naoki. The texture of the powder is extremely fine. The color is a beautiful dark vibrant green. The flavor is very light with a very low bitterness and a hint of sweetness on its own. It has a very clean taste. However, the flavor does get easily over shadowed by milk and sweetners in a latte. If you want to taste the matcha better you need to add more matcha powder (~4.5 grams). Considering the fact that I am not drinking Matcha traditionally, I do not need a flavor profile that is super complex like what other matcha enthusiasts rave about (often times their recs are super overpriced for its size and/or hard to get). I just need something that will be paired well when used with milk and sweetners. I look for matcha with good quality, affordability, and easy accessibility to repurchase (via Prime adds extra brownie points). Superior Ceremonial checks all the boxes to a first good intro to matcha!

In terms of value for money, it’s absolutely worth it—the quality matches the price, and a little goes a long way. Naoki Matcha Organic Ceremonial First Spring blend has pleasantly surprised me and I would definitely recommend this product. The vibrancy of the powder along with the fragrant notes of sweet nuttiness and umami is hard to miss upon opening the bag! The price point of $40 is very decent and affordable in this era of finding a matcha worth your buck. This matcha blends incredibly extremely well, with no graininess and comes out extremely smooth. The usucha is not very creamy by itself, but still very smooth. I cannot verify whether this blend is true to being ceremonial or organic, however after ordering from a couple brands off amazon, it’s safe for me to say this is a great matcha at an affordable price point. Price Point: For one serving, or latte I use 4g/2tsp matcha and 120g of Planet Oat Barista Lovers Oatmilk. I make a 12oz Iced Matcha Latte for $1.90, if you’re trying to avoid spending $8+, Naoki is your bag!

I’m happy with the quality of the matcha itself. The flavor is smooth and vibrant, and it mixes well, so the product seems to be good. However, the packaging and presentation were disappointing. When my order arrived, the bag looked messy with matcha powder all over the outside of the package. It made it feel like the product wasn’t sealed or handled carefully during packaging. Thankfully the matcha inside still seems usable, but for a food product—especially something premium like ceremonial grade matcha—I would expect cleaner packaging and better quality control. If the packaging were improved, this would easily be a 5-star product. 🍵
