In a first time mom and had been trying to use nail clippers to cut my almost 4 month old’s nails. Well after getting him twice by accident I finally caved and bought this because Amazon had it as the overall pick. I just used it for the first time and omg was it worth it. I used the pink disc (for 0-3 months) and tested it on my skin before even touching my boy. It doesn’t irritate skin at all and stops with too much pressure so as to protect the skin. It was super easy to use and take 2 AA batteries. It has a nice little case and the lowest setting wasn’t too much to use on baby nails. The light on the end makes it easy to see the nail and I was able to hold it while breastfeeding and use it easily. It’s super light weight too.

Pros: I like that there are options for grit. the newborn grit is great for getting the nail but being gentle around the skin. Cons: Drill bit stops spinning if there’s too much resistance…. I’m using this on baby nails, there’s not that much resistance! The flash light on the end doesn’t actually aim at the nail so it’s kinda pointless (probably drains the battery a little too). Cheap for sure, you get what you pay for but it does the job!
