Essential for hammock camping
I used this on my last trip along with a sleeping bag liner as a lightweight sleeping bag alternative. The temperature was mostly comfortable although it did get a little cool on its on so I put on my rain suit and crawled back into my hammock. In the early hours of the morning, the rain began to soak my hammock line and bleed into my hammock. Fortunately, the waterproof bivy sack kept me and my clothing completely dry. I noticed a small hole in the corner when I got home but amazon is replacing it no problem. This might even stay in the car with me moving forward.

Looks just fine !
This item appears to be just what I wanted. Less expensive than similar items. I am saving for emergency use so can not really say much about quality. However, I did take a look at the mylar bag and it appears well made as with the storage bag.

Perfect for the SHTF backpack
So far so good,I am very happy with it. It is a gift for my son who asked for "survival stuff" for Christmas,he hasn't unwrapped it yet,so as of right now his best guess is that it is a pair of double insulated survival socks... 😂 I am sure he will be thrilled with it though!

Best buy I have ever made for survival gear.
This is a very light weight survival item that replaces the much heavier full size sleeping bag. A must have item for all out door hikers and adventure seekers. I would not want to be with out this emergency sleeping bag and found to be lacking when battling the cold nights in a survival situation challenged me.

No Breathability
For a one time use, it's ok. You will need insulation added for warmth, as this emergency sleeping bag is paper thin. Also, be prepared to wake up wet because there is no way for the moisture of your breath or sweat to evaporate! Someone needs to redesign this emergency sleeping bag with breathability.
