Just keep the seeds most for about 4 days. Good germination rate. Really a very nice color.

Great product
So, everytime I've ordered True Leaf Market/Mountain valley seed has delivered great stuff, this is intended for micro greens though, so if you're not experienced with micros tread lightly, this one takes a little more finesse than sunflower or pea does. Always comes out great though, never any mold or fungus issues. Great replacement for beet micros.

Color me green
My seeds sprouted and they have been growing nicely, however the color is not red or violet. They are mostly green. There are a few red ones in there. I wonder if I did something wrong or if maybe I got another variety of seed instead of the Red Garnet Amaranth.

VERY low germination rate (25%?)
I tried 2 different methods of sprouting these red garnet amaranth seeds: a wicking method (as shown on Mike VanDuzee YouTube videos) (see moldy black) and my old, tried and true Easy Sprouter (see white plate photo). I can get a cornucopia of other types of seeds to grow fine (& easily) via both methods. I am left with the conclusion that this brand of seed has SUCH a low germination rate that they are useless for my purposes. Therefore, I will sadly toss them & look for an alternative supplier. I knew it was a risk due to having read other reviews. However, if you were dirt planting, having most (75%?) of the seeds rot might be no problem, iffin’ the overall cost were low enough compared to other vendors.
