These plugs are made of quality material and good fit for 12-gauge steel tubing.
Just had a metal storage building constructed to store a fifth wheel camper inside out of the elements. Purchased 12-gauge metal framing to get extended rust through warranty. These square plugs worked great to seal the ends of tubing. Plugs sealed tightly with the use of a rubber mallet to install.Plugs are made of quality material and should last a long time. Received plugs in a few days as promised.

Square tubing end plugs.
These fit in the end of the 2 1/4" square tubing both 12 & 14 gauge since the ID is the same on both wall thickness of the tubing. They do a good job of plugging the ends.

Great solution to plug open ended carport roof supports
We had birds nesting inside the galvanized steel roof supports of our carport (and making a mess on our cars!) These cap plugs were the perfect size to cap the 16 open ends of the supports. Easily installed and problem solved.
