Direct fit for my application. The sound level is much lower than the original motor and the first replacement pump I had previously purchased. It also seems to move more water through the jets. Good quality and very easy to replace.

Replaced a 30yr old pump where the impeller shaft seal had leaked and cause the motor to burn up from cavitation. So far works good. It came in a box with some paper for shock absorbing not the best way to pack an expensive item also someone tried to put the feet on but didn't know how to get the back foot on a left it in the box. So I don't know what was going on there.

Installed in a very old, jetted tub and worked great. Quieter and draws less amps.

So far this replacement motor is working quite well for our jet tub not sure if it'll last as long as the original but doesn't seem to have much less power even though it says it has half the horsepower. It draws almost half the amperage of the original, which works out great for us because we run our house off solar and backup generator. We can now run our jacuzzi tub off the inverter instead of having to fire up the generator. all and all very happy with his so far.

Replacement for a 13-year-old Whirlpool Hydrabath tub pump, now obsolete. The Hydrabath model# was 605000UC-RS5, Chinese-made. This new pump is USA-made, and is 3/4 HP instead of the original 1/2 HP. The dimensional fit is the same at the fluid end; inlet and outlet hoses on the tub are 1-1/2" and terminate with hand-tight PVC Unions and underneath the tub the fit is tight - not much flexibility. But this pump fit right in almost perfectly, with very little shimming required. The electrical end is slightly longer, due to the bigger windings, more HP. Definitely saw the difference in pump output, the jets are circulating very strongly now. I cleaned up the male union fittings on the new pump to make sure they were absolutely smooth, and used vaseline on the female union O-rings to make sure I had a good tight seal. I left the tub full overnight after function-testing the new pump, just to hydro-test all the connections and ensure there are no leaks. Recommend and nice to buy USA-made equipment.
