KOHLER GENUINE PART GP77005-RP Ceramic Valve (Hot)

Worth the money paid for a genuine part.

this is well made and went in easily once I got the rusted faucet part off. No drips, quiet and smooth. This is clockwise CLOSE for HOT side. There is a cold side with different number, use care to make sure have right part. How do I know this?

Went right in& stopped the leak. 10 minute job.

Perfect replacement for the Kohler (K-R10273-4N-BN) Forté Sink Faucets. The old ones are damn near impossible to remove due to 12 years of hard water calcification but once you can actually remove them these are an easy install. Finger tight + quarter turn makes it leak proof. At $14/each this makes a $28 faucet like new again, rather than buying a $130 new set. They're still in good condition, and this seems to be the only moving part which seizes up, so I'm hopeful that these will be good for another decade.Also, just to make it complicated, Kohler likes to list both this brass valve along with the ceramic updated version in the same document, so make sure you look closely at the one you have and buy the CW and CCW versions. This wasn't clear to me and I ended up buying one set of each which resulted in my returning the wrong set. No biggie, it all worked out in the end.P.S> There are a LOT of videos on YouTube showing how to replace these. There are a few good ones, watch those before you go off on your own for the first time.

Great replacement cartridge for a leaking Kohler faucet. They don't last as long as I think they should and start dripping after a few years but that is probably more a function of my water quality. Takes less than 5 minutes to replace using a 5/8 deep well socket.

My Kohler bath tub is about 14 years old. The water leaks from the bottom of the faucet. It is not significant amount of water, but it bothers me. A professional plumber provides us with a free quote for $60 with parts and labor. I searched up in the Kohler web site and identified the parts. It took me 5 mins to replace it. It fits perfectly. No more leaks.

Worked great. You need a big wrench and some PB blaster to get the old one out.

The product was great, but I couldn’t use it because I had to buy a new faucet. Stupid me I didn’t check to see if old valve would come out. It didn’t, bought a new faucet and installed 1 hour zero problems. By the old faucet a 20 years old was a bear to remove. Luckily I had some beer, when the new was installed I had a few and admired my work
