Great condiment
With the shortage of the rooster brand, I was able to get this one! I have used this brand in the past. I love it on my eggs and chicken. Adds a nice spicy flavor. You need to like spicy dishes with this !

WAY too Salty
I am a huge fan of Sambal - primarily the Huy Fong Sambal which is currently unavailable. Thought i would try this as a substitute - not good not good at all. It is way too salty...

Wonderful hot chili paste - have been using this product for 45 years in various Indonesian recipes. Now I use in many sautés - particularly good with potatoes in skillet for breakfast. First tasted in Liberia, W. Africa from Dutch expats working on a rubber plantation. Amazon makes it easier to obtain and the free shipping is a plus with Prime.

Mouth watering
I was introduced to this product by a Dutch friend. It is so deliciously hot and full of flavor. I have ordered it mutiple times and will continue to do so.

Love my Conimex sambal oelek
I love this chili paste I have been buying for years. Conimex is the best brand for this paste. It has become expensive, but worth it.

Unsealed, Do not buy
Jar came unsealed and will be throwing away. Out $20 because no refunds. Would not buy again and wanted to submit this review as warning to others.
