Many have simple keys and are easily broken or unlock able even without a key. These are small and not heavy, so they work great for luggage, backpacks, or other zippered items you need to secure. The keys are unique enough that you can't just pick the lock easily. I've traveled with these now a few times and they've kept my belongings secure. I'd highly recommend.
