Desire Biryani Fried Onion 1 Kg

My wife likes it. We have been using it for a while. I think it needs refrigeration after opening the packet.Good product.

I have used fried onions from different brand but this is by far the best. The Onions are not fried till it gets dark brown in color like other brand owners does but these are perfectly fried till golden brown. I use this fried onions for dal, curries and for everything that needs onions. If I have to use onion in a traditional way then I will have to use oil/ghee to fry it along with masala. Once the onions are fried, it's difficult, rather almost impossible to get rid of extra oil/ghee. I use one tablespoon of oil/ghee to cook masala or for the tadka and then I add this fired onion once the masala is cooked. This reduces calories intake to a great extent. Normally I use onion powder along with other spices and curd for marination but whenever I have to make dal fry or some curry based food then I prefer product like this. However, I do use regular onion in traditional way in some food because in some food you need onions that are cooked until they become translucent.Bottom line is m, this product is of very good quality.Cons: the zip pouch is of very inferior quality and it doesn’t seal at all. I had to transfer this product into silicon based airtight pouch. Hence giving 4 star for this product.Note: Keep this product in the airtight container in the freezer for longer shelf life.

this is the second time I bought this product last time it was perfectly cooked, but this time it is quite dark seems over fried!
