In fact if I had anything negative to say it would be hypothetically it might overheat even though I’ve never seen evidence of that. Why I say that is I believe it has 7 heat levels and I use setting 2 to boil large pots of soup. When I first got it I set it to seven and it boiled crazy fast but the burner was so hot so fast it can cause things to stick which eventually would burn. Level 2 heats it a bit slower but you still need to stir a few times before it comes to a boil because stuff still sticks a little bit. I wonder how consistent this is across this line. I have considered mine is tuned too hot but now that I never go past level 2 it’s not a problem. I bought this after returning a different brand that took forever to boil and actually would sometimes never boil at all. This is the exact opposite. So if you want a very powerful burner knowing it may be too powerful on its highest setting, and manage it, this is for you.
