In fact the flavor is so strong that I find it a bit overpowering, especially since I like to drink my tea without sugar or honey. After some experimentation, I found that a mixture of four parts of this mint mixed with three parts  Tea's Etc Lemon Grass  is really quite delicious. The sweetness of the lemon grass cuts the mint nicely. I brew three teaspoons of the 4:3 mixture in about two cups of water, then pour it over ice for a very cool, refreshing iced tea.I have also found that mixing one part of this peppermint (uncut) with two parts of  Davidson's Te De Hibiscus --which I drink for high blood pressure--really balances the sour of the hibiscus. That hibiscus mixture, while still not my favorite herbal tea, is quite refreshing over ice.Really, this two pound bag of mint is an incredible value if you like mint herbal tea like I do. One thing to keep in mind though is storage. Two pounds of tea is a lot. The bag it comes in is not resealable the way bulk tea bags often are. There is a piece of tape that can be used to hold the bag closed, but not the "zip-lock" style mechanism sported by many other bulk tea bags. I ended up purchasing four of the  Planetary Design Airscape 64oz . I am not sure if that would actually be enough space to hold all of it, as I did not get my canisters until I had already used some of my tea. I can tell you for certain you will need at least four.I considered giving this five stars. While it is not my favorite mint herbal tea, it is quite good and the value is unbeatable. 4.49/5.0 stars, and partly for the bag not being resealable. ### ⭐⭐⭐ So much tea! *by N***E on Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2014* +1--> So much tea for the price!!+1 --> The benefit to consuming loose leaf tea is that you can determine the strength. I typically use 2 tablespoons to really bring out the mint flavor.+1 --> The bag can be re-sealed. However, I will likely purchase an airtight tin to preserve freshness.-1 --> The tea contains an odd odor (that is not minty), it smells very unnatural.-1 --> The strength of the tea is not strong if you follow the directions (which can be found on their website). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product again, after a couple of bad batches *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2014* I just received my 4th shipment of the product, and the quality and the price can't be beat! It makes really delightful mint tea for only pennies per serving.I placed my 1st order about one year ago, and was equally delighted. However, as some other reviewers have noted, my 2nd and 3rd shipments contained an offensive odor... as though silicon somehow ruined the batch. It smelled horrible and tasted horrible. I chalked my 2nd order to just bad luck, and ordered again, and when the 3rd was also bad I contacted Amazon. Amazon's customer service was excellent, and ultimately they refunded the cost of my two bags and promised to pull the offensive batch from the shelves. To be safe, I waited a couple weeks before ordering again --- and was delighted that the amazing, wonderful product is back!I recommend this product highly to anyone interested in an excellent caffeine-free tea, both because it is economical and delightful (I drink mine with milk and a little sugar, and only brew for 3 minutes). But when you open the (very large) bag, the contents should ONLY smell delightful and wonderfully minty. If the product smells anything other than wonderful min - like the smell of a fresh pack of spearmint gum, or if it leaves a bad chemical aftertaste upon consumption, you've happened upon a bad batch again. I don't at all the know the cause, but my #2 and my #3 bags had two different manufacture dates on them, so buyer beware that it might happen again. But even with that risk, given the economic value of the product, the quality of a good batch, and the excellent customer service of Amazon, I think the risk is worth it.
