Are they Made in USA?** A: They are not marked any ware with USA but they are great. Sturdy and they do very well in the dishwasher. **Q: Do the numbers stay on after repeatedly using or is it a quessing game again later? Can they come apart? Can they fit in the smaller spice bottles? Are they worth $13.00?** A: The numbers are etched into the handle, so no, they won't come off after washings....They come with both a ring and a chain and you can take them off of both...The tablespoon might not fit into a small spice jar ( tried on the little cans and the tbls was just a little too big...this was the smallest container I had) but all the others fit easily. They also have ml as well at tsp...and they are made of stainless steel. I thought they were worth $13.00. **Q: Is the stainless steel 18/8 or 18/10?** A: Mine have the words "stainless steel" stamped on their reverse side, but no grade indication. They are very dull and have a "worn-in" look which I don't appreciate. I have had a stainless steel round set for decades that look as bright & shiny as the day I bought them. So, we bought a set. They are excellent.First of all, they’re made of thicker metal stock - the way things were made when we were younger.Next, the tops are smooth so it is easier and more accurate when scraping off the excess flour/sugar. This helps us be exact.Thirdly, then are elongated (front to back) and thin (side-to-side). This allows the spoon to enter into small bottles and spaces. This is an exceptionally valuable feature.Fourthly, they are all joined by a relatively substantial ring, not the cheap flimsy ring that always seems to allow one spoon to escape.Fifthly, the price is very fair.My very experienced wife, who bakes daily, is exceptionally pleased with this measuring spoon set. She repeatedly raved about its many features throughout her first day using it. It takes a lot to make such an impression on her in the kitchen.We also realized that we have a few other products from this company in our kitchen.
