BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus Spray - Kills Poison Ivy - 24 oz Bottle

We live in the Southern US where it’s been hot for a while and with excessive heat, the weeds are growing like crazy. We love flowers and have several large flower gardens and in addition the usual perimeter beds of shrubs outlining our house. Even with a heavy layer of pine needles for mulch, my husband is not able to keep up with the weeds. He has spent untold wasted hours pulling the weeds to have them return. We have tried just about everything including Preen and Roundup, then using AI my husband read that BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus, Weed Killer Spray would handle the job. I subscribe to a paid plant app, called “Picture This,” which identifies an unbelievable number of plants and their health, diagnosis of them, and tells you more than you’d ever want to know about the plant you are identifying. So using this tool as a guide we know whether a product will kill the weed we’re trying to get rid of. Even though previous weed killers say that they will get rid of the weed, they did not, but BioAdvanced did. To our surprise this product is everything and more than it maintains. In addition it arrived in a ready to use mixture with a pump that functions better than pumps of similar products we have bought. The bottle is large, but is easy to use, even for someone who is not as strong, like me. I did not find it too heavy to handle, because one can set the bottle down and the hose was long enough to reach a good area. It’s quite easy to apply and the sprayer works great! Finally we have found something that truly gets rid of weeds and for us, BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus, Weed Killer Spray is the only weed killer we will ever buy. Below my husband conducted a little experiment. He laid a long piece of trim wood on the ground in an almost empty side garden. Before adding more plants he needed to get rid of the weeds. Honestly pulling doesn’t do it. Many hours of weekly weeding and they return within a couple of days. On the right hand side of the trim board he treated the weeds with BioAdvanced Brush Killer Plus, Weed Killer Spray. On the left hand side of the board he sprayed ready to use Roundup Spray. Both sprays were applied within minutes of the other. In 1 1/2 days ALL the weeds on the right side of the board or on the BioAdvanced side were dead, On the left side which was the Roundup side, they were still growing like weeds! BioAdvanced Brush Killer, Plus Weed Killer is an amazing product!

I have battled to kill black berry bushes at every house I have ever lived in. I’ve tried sprays and other chemicals, ripping them out and digging them up but they are truly a problem. I bought this thinking it would most likely be a waste but it did the job, they’re dead. It took a few days but they were wilting by the end of the first day. A week later and they are very dead.

It does the job but it does take a few weeks

July 6: I initially received the product quickly but it did not include the wand (which I paid extra for). I reached out to customer service and received a prompt reply, apologizing and saying they would send this out to me. Instead of sending it quickly, they sent it via USPS (apparently). After a week, I reached out asking where it was and was told I would need to give it a full 7-10 days. Today is the 11th business day and nothing. I wrote back and was told they will send me another one. I assume it will take another 7-10 business days before I see if they actually send it. They are fast to respond, but very slow to deliver. I would suggest going elsewhere for this product or any others they sell. This is, in my opinion, very bad "customer service". If they wanted to keep me as a customer, they would have rectified their mistake by overnighting or at the least, 2 day delivery of the part they forgot to include! I paid extra for the part - I should have the part and not wait weeks upon weeks to get it. Never again with this company. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I've used BioAdvanced Brush Killer for several years. It works and it works well! It's not instant, but it will kill anything you want gone and I have rarely needed to reapply. It eradicated poison ivy from my yard as well as VA Creeper and other offensive weeds and vines. It killed off a tree which was just a stump but kept regrowing for years - This product finally killed it off! This year I have a new section of my yard that needs cleaning up and I ordered the 1.3-gallon size because it comes with the battery-operated wand (easier on my hands). It arrived in a couple of days, as promised, but without the wand. I contacted customer service and they replied the next business day and promised to send me the wand - in 7 -10 days. A little disappointed that I received the product in 2 days, but it will take a week or more to receive the missing part - but honestly - this stuff works so well that I'll wait! I highly recommend this product!

This stuff works great. You get a large are in a small amount of time. It is a bit pricey and the bottle empties quickly. Just know your intentions on where you want to spray and one spray over it is enough. Starts working in hours !

I have used this before, I bought a gallon with the hand sprayer last year and it lasted until now, then I bought this type with the battery operated sprayer. The sprayer applies a lot of product quickly, so much so that I used the entire 1.3 gallons in an hour. The spray switch is hard to turn on and off quickly for spot jobs and the nozzle is not adjustable enough to slow down the application rate. I need to buy again but will get the hand sprayer so as to not waste so much product. This product works for me, it takes about a week to see noticeable wilting of the leaves but it eventually kills the plant. It does not work on regular weeds , only woody plants like poison ivy and poison oak.

I have a yard full of wisteria vine I'm rehabilitating. I used this product according to the instructions and a week later I'm seeing all kinds of viny death.

It worked for us. Vines, poison ivy and any poisonous weeds it killed. Some weeds are growing on the ground. I will do those but the majority of poisons that led to our fence dead!

It does the job

Brilliant stuff . Wiped out thorn, shrubs and brambles. Allowing me to get on top of the garden.

Costly so I stupidly thought that maybe a good product and will do the job ? The set up is very easy to do, but the results....... Used on Blackberry runners and at the base of the root. Days later there are new side shoots and it has grown a few feet. I then drowned the base and the shoots with this products and nothing has happened. Not even a leaf curling or die back. Three weeks now and I'm resolved to getting scratched and dig it up.

Doesn’t work any better than soap won’t touch heavy deposits.If you buy it , use and it doesn’t do what is expected/ required you can’t return it!
