The quality you expect from Merrell with the price you expect from Amazon!
Right out of the box an amazing Merrell product at an equally amazing price with almost instant delivery from AmazonUPDATE: 13 months later.....these are the very best sandals I've ever owned hands down....they are so comfortable I have worn them frequently with sox in the Winter in VT!Being retired I spend the bulk of my free time fishing, all Summer throughout VT, NH, ME and Canada...these sandals provide perfect traction in the boat, on slippery rocks, even walking brookside in 3' tall weeds, great ventilation, great when wet, great on any terrain.....the Vibram soles are tough and even after extensive wear, only the outside heal nubs show any wear at all......next Spring I'll buy another pair without even shopping!UPDATE July 2020: While these remain very capable and comfortable, I am faced with a failure that I should mention. My sandals remain in very good general condition however ONE loop guiding the lace on the left foot, right hand side, has broken for no apparent reason leaving the sandal loose and it cannot be easily repaired! This is a manufacturing issue on an amazing pair of high quality sandals...NOW, do I bite the bullet and buy another pair anyway, or look at alternatives? MERRELL?

Super comfortable.
First pair of sandals like this. I entretained the idea of getting some Keen Arrollo or Keen H2's but the product quality ratings are not that great and it seems that there are fitting issues as well. I have a pair of Merrell Hiking mid boots and lasted me for years, still do. Besides the looks, this sandals have great ratings and that boosted my confidence on buying them, I was a little insecure about wether they'll fit or not but I'm a size 9 and they fit very comfortable. I can say they go a tad on the big side, like 1/2 an inch bigger but i have no issues given the extra room for ventilation and protection to my toes. Bungee cord lace fastens very easy and firmly. These are super light and grippy given the Vibram sole, haven't tested them outdoors yet since i got them yesterday. Well ventilated for summer use. Best shoe/sandal hybrid out there.

Great shoe but not a sole mate
Merrill foot ware have always been excellent and fairly expensive .My only criticism is that it does not take much more than a year for the sole to separate. This is true of most of the athletic type of shoes I have bought .Shoe Goo adhesive is a waste of money and time under these curcumstances.I would like to find an athletic type shoe that will last sole wise for a longer period of time...As it is, I only use these types of shoes for 3 to 4 mos a year . Not good that the soles separate so soon.Great shoes. --- just need a true sole ( soul)Excellent fit / comfort/ color

Durable, comfortable, and worth every dime.
I love these shoes! I've had a pair in another color for 4 years now, and have logged countless miles in them, and they have performed flawlessly. Great fit right out of the box, but they will break in and loosen a little over time. I haven't worn these yet, but have no reason to believe they will be any different than my previous pair because they look identical. (Materials, build, etc.) Sure footing on every surface I've worn them. They dry fairly quickly when having to wade. They only thing I would say is the color that is described as Light Brown (with the orange trim), is more like an olive green in the pair that I recieved, but I personally like the greenish color better than I would have the brown I think!

Functionality excellent! Size some issues
These shoes are great! Exactly what I wanted in functionality of a water shoe! Great grip, faster drying. Water flows in & out and shoe stay firm unlike typical wet shoes! They look dumb cause it’s a sandle shoe but obviously these weren’t made for a fashion show & they works great!! My only downside on these is It felt like it fit better at first then it does. It’s little extra in the toes but that’s ok cause a 1/2 size down would be to small probably. But after hiking in them for the 3rd time I noticed I was getting blisters because my feet are just a little wider then the shoe base so my foot walks on the inside strap that connect to the shoe. Hopefully as these break it more the fit will get better!

Highly Recommended
I've only worn these shoes on one long walk on a groomed DG trail. These shoes offer good support and comfort even right out of the box. Amazon suggested buying my normal shoe size (9.5) which worked our really well ~ they fit and function like a champ! I hope they are as durable as they are comfortable ~ that would be a winner for me.The strap behind the heel is elastic which makes it easy to put these on and take them off after a long day walking and hiking. I would recommend these to anyone looking for something similar.Be advised, the grip on the soles is not as good as hoped for. They slip around quite a bit when I hop up on the back bumper of my truck which is covered with a plastic shroud.

Another great All Out Blaze shoe
These original All Out Blaze shoes (not the Blaze 2 edition) have a consistent last that really fits my feet, so I have collected several. They all walk incredibly well (minimal 4 mm rise in the heel, so they give you good control and toe off for walking/hiking/water sports. I’m so glad they are still available. The newer Blaze 2 line isn’t nearly as varied or useful, in my opinion. These Sieve shoes offer sandal coolness/ventilation with protection for the top of your toes and real shoe-like support with a unified/shock-cord lacing system.

Great Fit and Great Looks
I chose these over Keens based on many reviews for durability and comfort.I measure 9.5 on the shoe store measuring device, albeit wide. I generally wear 10 wide in athletic shoes and 8.5 or 9 wide in dress shoes.I ordered the 9.5 and hoped for the best. I can tell there's about 1/2 inch of toe room and while they are snug on my wide feet, they do feel comfortable. I have flat feet so time will tell just how comfortable I find these.I'll update after an upcoming trip where I'll be hiking some wet trails and exploring tide pools.
