Premium 9-pc Set of Blocking Mats (Extra Thick), Artisan Bag

I have used these once and they worked great. Just what I needed and expected.

Back in the day I blocked my crochet designs using cheap pins and a piece of carpet. I absolutely love these blocking mats and the high quality stainless steel pins. It's true that the grid lines are a bit wonky, but I measure meticulously while pinning so it's not an issue. The ability to configure the individual boards to fit my projects is everything. I have two Artisan sets and two 3-mat sets, enough for a 4'x6' grid and numerous configurations. Perfect for blocking sweaters AND afghans (the afghan pictured is 43"x63"). Worth every penny. LOVE!

After finally getting to use these, I am very happy with the results. They work as described, and the lines on the mats really do make blocking items with straight edges much easier. When shopping for mats, this was the ultimate deciding factor for me and I am happy I spent a little extra to get this feature. The mats are sturdy, the lines do seem to line up when the mats are interlocked (although I didn't test every single mat yet), and my knit piece dried with no issues. I also got the carrying case with the box of T-pins and both are well-made and functional. The case is so cute too! Overall, I'm happy with this purchase and it was well-worth the expense. I love knitting and I expect to use this for years to come.

Wish I’d bought these years ago. So much better than the old bath towel method. Including the T-pins is very handy. I’ve used it twice already & it has greatly improved my projects.

When I saw this/these knitting blocks, I knew I had to have them. I have been knitting and crocheting since I was 9 years old and I've always struggled to find space and surfaces to do my blocking. I now have to search no more. These are perfect, light weight, compact, and convenient! Highly Recommend!!!

I bought this when I was new to crochet, and i wish I could say I made progress with my tension - but that would be a lie. This whole kit was super helpful as somebody newly trying to navigate crochet and somebody....still trying to navigate crochet.

Easy and straightforward to use! I've been weaving for a while and I've put off washes and blocking until I had this, and it made it quite easy. I like the lines to help keep things straight.. If I had it to do over, I might have gone for a set with actual measurements showing, but this set is great value for the cost, and durable.

Positives: 1) The mats are so thick the blocking combs won’t push though. 2) The mats fit very snugly. The major negative: The mats must be fitted together according to the numerical pattern provided in the instructions in order for the grid lines to match up. I needed to block a very long scarf after softening the yarn. I was unable to fit the nine mats in one continuous length and have the grid lines match up. I took the groups of three mats and placed them near each other so the grid lines matched, but they could not be fit together to maintain the continuous grid lines. I first bought a thinner and cheaper set of blocking mats that could be fit any which way and have the grid lines match. I upgraded to these mats. The fact that these expensive mats lack this feature is a huge negative.

I don't know how I did to manage without these wonderful blocking squares. They are just awesome! Ideal for small to medium projects but also for sweaters if you change the disposition in a "T". They are all that is said in the description. My next try is the "steam" method for blocking. The carrying case is really well made and looks really classy. There is a small pocket at the front for the pins (n.b. you should buy another box of pins, for your bigger projects.). The beauty of this case is that you can bring it to your friends house or a class. Not heavy, has a very good handle. It is just the BEST! 5*****

Item was exactly as ordered and easy to use

I received the blocking mats as promised. They connected together with the measuring lines lining up. The only problem is that the T-pins that were suppose to be included, were not included. When I went into Amazon to report the missing T-pins and to hopefully have them shipped out to me, the web-site told me I would have to return the blocking mats. I didn't want to do this since they are working as they were suppose to, and I noticed on the reviews that other people had problems with the blocking mats not fitting together and/or the lines not lining up. I didn't want to risk that problem with the replacement.
