I ordered this as a gift for my mother yesterday afternoon and it showed up at 10 this morning. Fastest I've ever recieved an order. The gift box it comes in was a little cracked on the top but I don't care, it won't be in it long, the interior packaging was very secure and served its purpose. I included a picture next to a bath and body works 3 wick candle holder to show the size somewhat for the more visual people. It is beautiful, glass not plastic, and has a desirable weight to it. The bases are cut in a way that makes prisms in sunlight. I know she will love it. Quality was forth the price. If you get it in cold weather and the sand sticks to the glass, just let it get to room temp and it falls off and goes back to normal. The sand stream is so fine you can barely notice but it's there, and you'll notice as the sand empties from one end to the other.

I love it. It’s super pretty and it works well. It’s only 1 minute slow. But that’s helpful for me. I can always use some extra time. lol

I had a plain glass hourglass that someone had given me years ago and it was accidentally dropped and broken. It was very basic, but with purple sand and our grandson loved to look at it when he came over so I knew I needed to replace it. I saw this hourglass on Amazon with beautiful purple sand, and thought it was pretty, but when I opened it, it's much more than pretty, it's beautiful. I should mention here that it comes in several colors. I ordered it and received it within a couple of days. Thanks so much to the seller for that and also for having such a beautiful piece they are selling for such lovely piece. I looked over their site here on Amazon and spotted some really nice things. It is beautiful. I bought it as a birthday present for myself and I am delighted with it. Packaging was multi-layered and the hourglass was extremely well protected. I particularly like the colored sand.

Nice box was stained. Sand was stuck and did not flow well. I shook it and tested it several times, it was not accurate. I do NOT recommend this product.

This purple crystal hourglass is perfect! It really is an 'hour' Glass, I timed it, and it was very well-packed. The company sent a lovely note along with the purchase and I feel it is a very accurate description of this product. I am very happy with this hourglass and this company. It is refreshing to have all the positive boxes ticked off.

Smaller than I thought it would be, but still pretty. I think it should have cost about $25 at most though. I haven't checked the accuracy since I bought it just to look pretty.
