Quikstrike Fly Bait (2-Pound)

This is from one day in one location in the yard. Kills flies in seconds. Overall estimate is 1000 flies in one day.

This is one of the best products I have ever bought, I recommend it to one of friends who own an out door patio restaurant and he bought 6 more for himself and his family

So effective it was only a matter of time before sale and shipping were banned in California. Sprinkled in our dog poop trash can and leave it open a crack to keep the fly population under control - all houses around us have dogs and some are better than others at picking up after their dogs. The fly issue can make spending time in the backyard unpleasant. Flies eat it, act weird in about 20 seconds and are completely paralyzed in a minute. Used about one pound a year for the last 2 years in the summer months. Night and day difference about 24 hours after using. Now that it's banned I'm looking for alternatives. The hanging fly traps are comparatively moderately successful.

I bought some of this at Tractor Supply back in 2023 and it didn’t seem to work so great. Of course no one told me to wet it down! But then I looked it up again here on Amazon and read all of the reviews. That convinced me to try it again! I hate hate hate flies. So gross! Since I ordered the two cans of this, I’ve used it pretty much every evening on top of the trash bins. A little goes a long way! But this time I’ve been adding water and a little bit of raw meat juice(like chicken or pork) maybe a teaspoon of juice and a teaspoon of this Quikstrike. Here’s a couple of pictures of the paper plate that I put out last night and the new one for tonight. I use the rocks to hold it down. The wind has been blowing so hard and I don’t want it down on the ground for obvious reasons. The other picture is about 10 minutes later. So many already! Maybe I shouldn’t be adding the raw meat juice to it but for some reason, it’s quite satisfying to watch them all die so quickly! They literally go to it, eat it and then fall over. Some of the stronger ones may fly a bit more but they act like they are drunk and can’t fly lol. Very amazing stuff!! Don’t breathe it or touch it as I’m sure it’ll kill us too haha. Just what we needed. Add a little fruit to draw them in and let them feast. Killed the large flies and let us enjoy the back porch for a change.

This stuff works amazing. You can watch the flies dying with the first bite.

Have had a very bad problem with flies this year. I keep my dogs poop cleaned up regularly. I bought this item based on the 5 star reviews. Followed the instructions and placed it in low plates in three different places around my yard where the flies are bad and even added extra "bait" to attract flies (fruit). After 2 weeks I have exactly 2 dead flies. The flies are not "eating it like candy" and "dropping over dead instantly" as other reviews reported.

Works well and worth the money!

This bait really works! The flies love it. The residual traces of bait still kills flies, even after washing out the containers. Amazing!
