Deka Sports Power ETX-30L

Deka makes the batteries for Harley-Davidson. These are the same batteries for a lot less than dealer.

Replacement for my 2002 Road King Classis. HD says between 300-400 CCA This was 385. I could buy the physical size and CCA at a bit over1/2 the price, but THE Biggest draw was the Terminal posts. This battery has bolt holes in the TOP and the SIDE which worked best for the Additional Electrical Connections Box opened, battery dropped in, came with new side bolt Spacers. (only 2 bolts so used a pair of the old bolts) Battery came fully charged Fired right up. And shipped free. I would definitely buy again.

This fit my '14 Ultra Limited perfectly. I replaced a 5 year old HD OEM battery. It took longer to unbolt and remove everything on top of the battery than actually installing the battery in the bike. I put it on a trickle charger prior to installing. Cheaper than a factory Harley battery and it handles all the accessories (heated grips/seat, LED lights and stereo) with no issues. The battery cranked over immediately with zero issues. It's at least comparable to the factory battery but I can't say for certain if it's better. Time will tell the life of the battery but I'd definitely buy again.

Holds charge good don’t need to be on tender often

I bought this great battery in 2015. It lasted me six years it cost me just over $100. I was so pleased with it that I purchase it again in February 2021. I paid more, but I knew I would get a great battery. Today it died and has an internal error. I use this battery often in my Polaris Ranger and I also keep the battery topped up with a low-voltage charger whenever I feel that it needs it. So I got a little under 2 years for a battery that in the past was great. And now that same battery is $60 more. The warranty is only one year and so I think I’ll look elsewhere next time. Too much money to be paid for a battery that keeps going up in price but only last under two years. Update: I was able to charge the battery with a trickle charger and bring it back to life. I believe some of these battery chargers show an internal error when the battery is low. It is taking a charge now and I have changed my rating. I will update if the charge does not hold, but for now I am glad I don't have to buy a new one.

Battery received was already 1.5 years old. Voltage out of the box was 12.3v (<50% charged) which is not great for an AGM and is right around where an AGM starts to sulfate. If you get a new battery, you’ll be fine. If not…
