NuTone C905 Door Chime Transformer, 16-Volt 10VA, 1-Pack

Works for SimpliSafe Video Doorbell Pro and existing NuTone two-tone chime.

Had a dead doorbell transformer with identification of C905. Ordered this one and installed it. Ring doorbell works now. No problems.

This works completely great and was used to replace a buzzing unit from the 70s. I would just ensure that you are connecting this to a Broan/NuTone doorbell and not get your hopes up on using this for smart doorbells

Product worked as expected. My Ring battery drained because the AC transformer had failed (power surge). Replaced with these, and we’re back in business

This is for the 16v 10va transformer. I know it is supposed to be 16v but after checking with a multimeter it shows 20v output. Everything seems to be fine. Doorbell worked fine for a week then stopped working. Save the trouble of doing the job again and look elsewhere.

Low price, got my ring doorbell up and running as well as my internal chime, working well since early January install I did notice the voltage output was on the higher side as other reviews but no issues

Approximately $16 for a single doorbell transformer is terrible value for money. A kit with transformer, chime, and two buttons can be obtained for nearly the same price right here on amazon.ca The description says “6 pack” so I bought a “used” set. Received one transformer, and returned it. Assuming it was a “used” product error, I re-ordered a “new” 6-pack. Again I received one transformer. Back it goes. This is a waste of time and money for both amazon and myself. Hopefully amazon will update the description.
