Entertainment Earth Minecraft Light-Up Redstone Ore Statue

I fully expected this item to be small because I had seen it at a local store before I purchased it. However, if you have never seen this in person before it COULD be disappointing. It's a 3 inch cube... so 3 inches wide, 3 inches tall, 3 inches deep. It has a clear bottom piece that you put batteries (not included) into and then screw the piece back on. It seems like it could be pretty easy to break, but we have it up on a shelf and use it as a novelty toy. It is pretty easy to accidentally turn on (bump the shelf and it turns on). There IS a switch on the bottom to turn on and off if it gets annoying or to only have it turned on for certain things. Since it can get difficult to tap through the levels of lights and get it to turn off this could be a good feature! The light on it has 3 levels, but there is not a lot of difference between the 2nd and 3rd levels. I can see a clear difference between the 1st light level and the 2nd one, though. I know that some people probably feel like for the high price of this type of item that it should be better, but since it is such a popular game I highly doubt that anything like this will be as cheap as we want. I think it would be a good gift for an older Minecraft fan (probably not younger kids). I had to wait a while for mine but I'm glad I got it in the long run. It's fun to have around the house!

I bought this like 6 years ago, and the battery never ran out. It functions as advertised, and the quality is good. It is also a great value for its price.

Looks great. the whole "touch sensor" mechanism is kind of unreliable. It goes through 3 or 4 different brightness levels based on how many times you tap the cube. I ordered it as a christmas present and it arrived in 2 days. This will not work as a lamp, which you can use to guide yourself through a room. it is a decoration and each side seems to be about 3 1/2 incehs in length so for the price, it is a bit small. This is excellent for any minecraft fanatic.

Great product! Has 3 light setting (low, medium and high) although I see no difference between low and medium, there is a difference when you tap it a third time and it goes to high. You can tap it a fourth time and it turns off, or you can simply flip the switch on the bottom to keep it from turning on. A great night light or novelty item for any Minecraft lover in you life. The product came boxed and in great condition and exactly as described.

What a neat idea, and man do I wish I thought of it (the whole minecraft thing). This is a plastic cube measuring about 3.5 inches on each side. When in the on position, it lights up, and goes brighter, each time you hit it. At the lowest brightness, it is very dim, about as bright as the light display on a DVD player. On the highest brightness, it's enough light to function as a night light. It doesn't make any sound.

We ordered this for our kids to mess around with since our whole family loves to 'Craft together. I wish they were a little cheaper and came in more colors bc I would love to have all the colored blocks like in Minecraft. So far we have had a lot of fun just leaving this on the coffee table for everyone to mess with while hanging out. Item is around half the size of a kleenex box, maybe a tad smaller and the light comes on from touch. The lights themselves are fairly dim but in my opinion the perfect brightness...not to bright, not to dull.

Un petit cube sympathique pour les fans de Minecraft. Les dimensions indiquées par Amazon sont correctes et sont pour moi satisfaisantes. La lumière offre 3 intensités en tapotant sur le cube avec un bouton marche arrêt dessous, il fonctionne avec 2 piles Lr6 non fournies. Ce n'est en aucun cas une lampe ou torche en soit, mais le cube reflète vraiment bien l'univers Minecraft. J'ai aussi pris le cube bleu Diamond sympa aussi mais le rendu du rouge Redstone me plait plus.

Der Block entspricht sehr genau dem original und auch die roten Stellen sind gut gearbeitet, so dass das Licht gut durchkommt. Die Stärke des Lichts ist in Ordnung und angemessen. Die unterschiedlichen Stufen schalten sich nach bestimmter Zeit aus, was sowohl die Batterien spart aber auch dem Original aus dem Spiel entspricht. Sehr schick als Geschenk für Minecraft-Liebhaber. Gerne wieder.

This is small, about the size of a Rubik's cube, but at a price far below the RRP, it makes a perfect stocking filler for any minecraft fan. It doesn't stay lit for long, you have to tap it to turn the lights on, but this saves repeatedly replacing the batteries in my opinion. At a bargain price, this is a nice novelty gift.

It’s way smaller then I expected, that was my own fault for not looking at the dimensions listed before getting it, but it’s fine. My son wanted it for a birthday gift I know he will love it!
