It says 4 and 1 though it lists 3 colors for ink in the description, and it does not mention black. Can someone clarify how many ink colors there are?

Ink colors are red, green, blue and black.

My pen did not come with lead in the pen and the black ink is not working smoothly after a couple of hours is this normal?

I totally agree with you. I was so disappointed with this pen. The writing is not smooth at all. The ink was constantly skipping. I just gave up on it.

How is this for people who write with their left hand?

Works equally well for left handed and right handed writers.

What do you click to get the pencil to work? The buttons for the different ink colors are obvious but there’s nothing noting how the pencil works.

The silver clip piece is the button for the pencil.
