The timer option and regular mode work flawlessly. I have run the decoy 4 hours without any issues pertaining to battery life. In the field, the geese respond to it as they would to flagging. I use it to draw the geese toward the spread and shut it off. If the geese don't finish or veer off, I hit the flapper on for a few seconds and turn it off. This has worked well pulling interest of the geese back on the spread. I have left it running or in timer mode all the time, the geese will see it and respond. This decoy is worth the money. Review: Wing Speed Adjustment not working out of the box. - I must say I am disappointed, I was excited to use it and a selling point was the wing speed adjustment, but right out of the box that function did not work. I reprogrammed my remote but still nothing. I listened closely to see if the motor rpms changed but they stayed at the same speed. For the price of this decoy I expected nothing but quality. I am thinking of giving the Higdon Clone a try. ## Features - NATURAL MOTION: Patent pending design provides the Super Goose Flapper with an increased range of motion, as natural as it gets - ALL WEATHER: operates on a Lithium-ion battery for consistent power.
