This 21-piece drill bit set from Milwaukee is tough and reliable! Black oxide finish resists wear, fits perfectly in my drill, and handles a variety of materials with ease. Great for any DIY or professional project. 🛠️

These bits hold up very well, not as durable as cobalt, but very good for the price. The well-designed case provides easy access to the bits. They are a bit difficult to remove, so I enlarged the retaining holes slightly by turning the bits upside down and worked them in & out several times. There are 21 bits in 16 sizes ranging from 9/64 to 1/2 with 2 each of the commonly used sizes: 1/8, 5/64, 1/16, 3/16, & 1/4. The bits with 3-sided shanks come in sizes: 13/64, 7/32, 15/64, 1/4, 15/16, 3/8 & 1/2 the rest have standard round shanks.

This is my second set of these black oxide Milwaukee drill bits, and I am still satisfied, and pleased with their performance, and quality. My original set lasted me 12+ years of home use, and I still have that set. I only replaced it, because I’ve damaged some of the drill bits by misuse (my fault 100%), and I lost one of the bits (I still use my old set as a beater/ sacrificial set now). I could’ve gotten a more expensive set, but these have held up so well for me that I don’t feel that it was necessary to spend more. I’ve used these for home stuff/ projects only, which involves drilling into thin metal, plastic, and wood, and I have no complaints about their performance; I am not sure how these would hold up in heavy-duty, daily professional use, but from my experience, I would recommend these if your needs are similar to mine.

I would describe this set as a good bit size selection for the home handyman type. A good compromise between variety of drill bit sizes for a reasonable package price. I have not used these bits much since I bought them so I can not comment on durability. From limited experience, nothing has broken or dulled and I like the semi triangle shape of the drill end of the bit that seems to eliminate the slipping bit problem you get with the round drill end bits. I have not tried to drill hardened steel yet so I will leave one star off for the unknown durability part
