Ohio Stoneware 10" Dominion Mixing Bowl

This is my second bowl, I have the 12" too. I love these heavy heirloom kitchen staples. They stay put on the counter, the shape is conducive for safe handling, and they have a very durable easy to clean glossy glaze. Very functional and look fine for serving food in. Bonus - hand made right here in Ohio!

Sturdy replacement for a vintage one I broke.Specifically wanted one made in America, to feel that the glaze is safe! Perfect size and boy, do they pack it well! Money well spent, look forward to using it for years to come.

Absolutely beautiful. As a person who believes in the mantra "Buy it nice or buy it twice" ... this kitchen essential is extremely well made. It is heavy, smooth, and substantial feeling in your hands. The blue stripe and overall glossiness of the finish is flawless. I also appreciate the thickened rim around the top of the bowl as it allows you to handle the heavy bowl filled with ingredients securely. I personally bought this bowl to use in the preparation of bread doughs. I bought the 10" size which coincidentally allows the use of 10" shower caps - used to cover the bowl during the dough rising process. Microwave, regular oven and dishwasher safe - this bowl mates up with my intentions for it perfectly. I can imagine this bowl being passed down to my grandchildren and beyond. $50.00 for a bowl? - yep - buy it nice or buy it twice. If I ever buy a bowl as a gift to someone I love - it will be made by Ohio Stoneware - USA!

I love my Ohio Stoneware bowls. Just received the 10 inch one, it came 3 days earlier than expected, so they are on top of their service. It was packaged very well. I’m ordering the 8 inch Dominion bowl next. They are going to be beautiful nesting on my counter. Very much worth the price. They are an everyday working part of my kitchen, a good weight, and very durable. I will have the perfect size bowl for any need.

It arrived quickly and in perfect shape. The packaging was awesome so no scratch or crack on the bowl. It is beautiful, just what I was looking for.

Perfect! Heavy and solid, just right for working with sour dough bread dough. Smooth finish, washes easily. Feel like this bowl will still be around for my great grand children. I plan to buy another in a smaller size for other baking.

Seems like a quality product. Very heavy and pretty. It has imperfections though. It’s currently sitting on my counter and I’m trying to decide if I should exchange it or not. See photos for imperfections.

I wish there was a way to give 0 stars. Ohio Stoneware makes outstanding products but if the shipper is incompetent then it's useless. There was barely any packing material in the box (one sheet of bubble wrap on the bowl and one small sheet of air cell on the top only) and the item was smashed into shards. I recommend Ohio Stoneware to anyone but I will not recommend getting it from this distributor as they obviously have not concept on how to pack fragile items (not even a fragile sticker on the box!) I get fine China and crystal shipped from all over North America and Europe with no damage because they take the time to pack properly. This poor job shows no respect for the item or the customer.

The bowl itself is lovely but as other customers have noted it was so poorly packed, no bubble wrap or any protection, so it arrived broken into many pieces. I would not order this item from Amazon.
