This stripping gel works exactly as advertised. It’s easy to apply, clings well to surfaces, and does a great job of removing old paint and varnish. I was impressed with how effectively it lifted multiple layers without producing strong or harsh fumes.Overall, an excellent product that makes paint removal much easier. Highly recommend for DIY projects or refinishing furniture.

Works great! I learned that I needed to saran wrap the dresser after applying the product to keep it from drying out. I had to do it twice but the dresser I got second hand had 7 layers of apint on it. So it did great. It was time saving because I attempted to just sand the fresser and it took me well ober 3 hours for just a small spot without this product. I covered the dresser wrapped it up and after 8 hours I started scraping it. Most of it just fell off when I moved the saran wrap. It smells much better then other products. Says you can use it inside but I wouldnt. Get good quality gloves and a paint brush you wont care to throw away. Avoid those sponge brushes. doent work with those.

Not the strongest stripper, but one of the safest to use. Works well on shellac, varnish, and lacquer. It works on paint, but plan on using several applications.

This stuff is fabulous!! It doesn't smell chemically. Strips the paint well. Very thick so stays in place. Small size bottle but really goes a long way.

The media could not be loaded. I took a chance on this, hoping it would remove heavy black paint on the back of an aquarium. I tried scraping with a blade and it just was too embedded to work. I thought maybe because it was painted on glass. It would be easy to scrape off but it was not the case. It was so thick and had been on the glass for a long time. Probably years.So I bought this product and applied it with a paint brush. It says it should start working in 30 minutes and may take up to 24 hours. This stuff, once applied began to curl and peel the paint off within a couple minutes! What I thought was going to take hours to do took only minutes!I think it's a great product! It covered the back side of a tank that was 20x48 in. I didn't use barely half of the 1 qt. jug. And I applied it very thickly. Also, what was a pleasant surprise was that I was able to wash off the brush with soap and water!Although the instructions do not say to wear a mask, I will say there is a distinctive effect that is noticeable during the application. Although I can't say my lungs burned, They did feel a little weird. The scent is very acrid.It comes out thick like pudding and is easily and generously applied in one stroke. I don't think you will be disappointed with how powerful this stuff is.It was worth it for me!

I purchased this to refinish a nightstand. While I appreciate the smell, and not harsh fumes, I felt it didn’t work very well. I used it over two days, even wrapped overnight, and eventually bought another product.
