If you mean after you clean the leather as long as it is dry you can apply the conditioner.

How long is the product good for?

1. Do you mean "how long on the container?" as in shelf life? I have not noticed any change after 2 or three years. I would contact LEXOL for a more definitive answer. 2. Applied to leather: This is a cleaner and it is meant to clean leather.....and then coat it with LEXOL Conditioner. The length of time that it is "good for" would depend on a few things: A. Condition and/or age of the leather. B. Proper application of cleaner/conditioner. C. Use 1. Car seat 2.luggage/ cases 3. Shoes/boots 4. Jackets/ vests 5. Environment where used and/or stored a. wet b. dusty c. temperature There are a lot of things to consider. It is best to use a on a hidden area or scraps first. I will say that LEXOL is the best product that I have ever used and you can get good support from their Customer Service.

Will this help at all for faux leather? Is it likely to ruin it?

You might want to contact the manufacturer of your furniture to get a definitive answer but my guess would be that Lexol would not harm your furniture.
