This is very secure for holding my husband’s iPhone 16. It has a very tight clip and also has loops for using a belt. There also is two slots for credit cards. The flap is magnetic, so you don’t have to worry about it opening up. I believe it’s leather or a very smooth finish.

I bought this to replace a holster that had a velcro fastener. Tired of the velcro failing after a few months on them. This case seems sturdy enough, the leather belt loops are double stitched to the cover, not glued like I have seen on others. How strong the stitching is, remains to be seen. The magnets in the flap, seem a bit on the weak side. It holds the cover closed well enough though. My only issue is, the case barely holds my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with an almost full coverage (Unicorn Beetle) case on it. It DOES fit, very very snuggly. I have little fear this phone would ever fall out on it's own. I am hoping things will stretch out some, and it will be easier to get in and out. Otherwise I might have to find a slightly thinner protective case. Update 17 NOV 2023: The holster did indeed stretch out some and fits my cased phone snuggly, but still easy to get out.

This is a replacement for the same item I purchased about four years ago. Considering how much wear and tear I put on a case, this one has done quite well. The old one was still quite functional, but friction over that time had begun to wear the covering off, so a replacement was in order. I actually considered myself lucky to be able to get the exact replacement given the success with the first one. Probably will have to replace my phone by the time I need a new one again. But I would go back to the same company as a likely first choice based on past experience.

Update: I highly recommend the Nylon pouch as opposed to the leather pouch. The leather pouches start to deteriorate after 2 - 3 months, into visible strings and patches. The Nylon pouch stands up better to wear and tear. This is a great pouch for those who like to keep their phones close to them; and, know where their phone is at all times. The phone fits comfortably in the pouch and is not too loose. For the protective case on the actual phone, I recommend using a simplified sturdy case because a very large wrap-around case might make the withdrawing of the phone a little cumbersome. The close flap has magnets, so the flap stays closed and opens easily when you need to answer the phone. Although this case is great, it will last for about 1 year to 18 months before the strands on the belt area start to deteriorate a little. The case still straps onto the belt OK, but the sting strands start to show and the case begins to look aged. That though, is NOT a reason to pass up on this case. The case serves its purpose well all around, but don't expect it to last forever.

Never thought I would be using a case like this. I always refer to these belt holder cases as grandpa style cases lol. But after years of owning big phones I'm getting tired of putting them in my pocket and can't do normal stuff without the phone getting in the way. Smarts phones are getting bigger with bigger screens. Going for a hike with the kids and putting such a big phone in my pocket gets in the way. Putting such a big phone in a pocket like cargo pants and the phone flops around while walking. Working on a job site and having to bend down to get something the phone in pocket gets cumbersome. With the phone belt holster it's perfect. While I don't always use it for my everyday needs, but when I'm out and about working on stuff having a case like this is nice. The holster is big enough to fit my Samsung Note 20 Ultra with a thin case with plenty of room to spare. I would say there's enough room to use a full cover case if you wanted to. The magnetic top lid works great. Theres extra pockets for CC and stuff like that but I have used that yet. 2 ways to attach to your pants. You can either simply slide and clip on to the pants at the waster or use it with a belt for a more secure lock. I've used it for a couple days doing some construction work and the case has held up. Not to mention the phone screen is protected and no more accidental calls to random people lol

Great for security workers

Well made, good quality. My previous holders from another manufacturer tended to look worn after only six months or so. The covering on the edges wore off and made them look scruffy. This holder in black is made in a slightly different way. The edges on the short sides are elastic bands only, and will probably hold up better. I am very pleased with this holder. When the time comes to replace it, I plan to order the same item again.
