The box shows 2minute timer but I cant figure out how it works.** A: yes there's a timer the toothbrush will slow down when the two minutes is up you don't have to do anything it will automatically **Q: Is this one baby blue? My wife has the dark blue one and I need to differentiate from hers. The little ring is not good enough.** A: The one I had was dark blue. You might have to find some other method to differentiate yours from your wife's. Perhaps a small mark at the bottom of the battery chamber could help you. You may be surprised with your ingenuity. **Q: Does this have the same speed as the ones you would spend hundreds of dollars on?** A: it does not have the same speed as the rechargeable more expensive versions but it's plenty adequate I use it for a travel toothbrush and at work **Q: Wh is the main difference between this cheap oral b and expensive oral b electric toothbrush, non-sonic vs sonic?** A: I'm buying it for travel purposes. I have the electric and its got to be 15 years old and just now may be slowing down but this is a great option for travel and a back up. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oral-B Pro-Health Battery Toothbrush Precision Clean *by on Reviewed in the United States August 22, 2010* If your sick and tired of buying rechargeable toothbrushes with internal batteries that quickly loose their charge capacity and can't be replaced, then this toothbrush is for you. These toothbrushes also feature electronics that keep the motor voltage constant - and hence maintain optimal orbital brushing speed - even as the battery voltage declines as they discharge. So motor power is held consistant right up until the end when the batteries near complete depletion where finally the motor just stops. So you get optimal performance right to the end of set of batteries! This feature also means despite the lower voltage of using 2x 1.2V NiMH rechargeable cells, you get the same brushing speed and power as using 2x 1.5V Alkaline cells. This is great! as rechargeable NiMH cells last longer due to holding more charge capacity, are cheaper in the long-term, and save you throwing out bucket loads of spent Alkaline cells that would end up in landfill.Build quality of the units is great as you'd expect for a Braun, even for a cheaper unit. The battery chamber seals well but can be perfected by applying a thin layer of vaseline or other grease around the O-ring of the lower snap out section. This guarantees moisture vapour can't get into the battery chamber which over time can corrode rechargable batteries in long term service. The on/off switch is smartly sealed beneath a rubber membrane which ensures water can't get into the internals. The 2-minute timer is a nice feature. At this time interval the motor briefly oscillates off-on-off-on to let you know how long you've been brushing but if you wan't to keep brushing, you can as it doesnt turn the motor off.Overall this brush is great, especially for the price. The fact that ageing rechargable batteries can be replaced as their capacity diminishes means you can expect years of service from one of these, whereas the more expensive units with internal batteries are useless junk as soon as they loose the majority of their capacity.I changed from using a Spinbrush Pro clean to this Braun, and the improvement is terrific. The Spinbrush ran too-slow on lower voltage rechargable batteries, the battery chamber leaked, the button corroded and became unreliable, and batteries quickly corroded due to the leaking chamber. All these problems are remedied with this Braun model. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Your Gateway to a Healthier Smile *by on Reviewed in the United States August 3, 2023* The Oral-B Pro-Health Clinical Battery Power Electric Toothbrush has revolutionized my dental care routine, providing an unmatched level of cleanliness and leaving my teeth feeling fresh and rejuvenated. One of the standout features of this toothbrush is its clinical-grade cleaning action. It should last a long time. *by on Reviewed in the United States December 4, 2013* Having an issue with spending an entire two minutes brushing my teeth and wanting an electric toothbrush, I began looking for an electric toothbrush with a built-in timer. I began looking into the Sonicare line of toothbrushes before stumbling upon the Oral-B rotary-style brushes. Because these brushes were a fraction of the price of a Sonicare, I was skeptical, but since it was cheap to "try it out," I went for it. I won't be buying another electric toothbrush anytime soon. The reason why I picked this toothbrush versus others is based off of what I took away from other reviewers on other products:- Price; this product is a fraction of the price compared to others.- Rotary brush head vs sonic brush head; my dentists have always recommend brushing in a circular manner versus a back-and-forth method. I have heard that sonic brush heads are much more prone to being a breeding ground for bacteria. I decided to opt for the rotary head.- Replaceable battery vs. rechargeable; most electric toothbrush batteries end up going out completely after a year or two. I didn't want to deal with having to dock my toothbrush and worrying about the impending doom regarding the charge going out, so I decided to get the AA-powered model that was cheaper. I instead am using recharegable AA batteries.- Timer; this product has a timer. It will turn on and off about 3 times after 2 minutes. I don't need different "brush modes" or anything.- Travel; Because there aren't any additional parts, taking this brush with me while I'm travelling is just as simple as carrying around a manual toothbrush. Just make sure your battery has juice before you take it with you. :)Other things to note:- The battery lasts about 30 days.- The brush is relatively loud compared to a Sonicare, but you get used to it.- The entire brush is waterproof and you can run it under the sink. I wouldn't submerge in water though. Also, you can prevent the battery seal from cracking by routinely keeping your toothbrush clean. Your saliva/toothpaste will naturally want to get within every groove of this brush. Just run the entire brush under the sink and the wipe everything down after you're done, it takes about 20 seconds. I clean the seal around the battery case every 2 weeks or so.Overall, I am very happy with this product, it keeps my mouth feeling much cleaner than it ever did with a manual brush and I see it lasting a long time. Even if it does break at some point as other reviewers are stating, it's very cheap to replace as the price suggests. I'm just curious why I didn't do this sooner. ## Frequently Bought Together - Oral-B Pro 100 Precision Clean, Battery Powered Electric Toothbrush, Blue and White - Replacement Toothbrush Heads Compatible with Oral B Braun, 12 Pcs Professional Electric Toothbrush Heads Brush Heads Compatible with Oral B Replacement Heads Refill 7000/Pro 1000/9600/500/3000/8000 - HSYTEK 6 Pack Toothbrush Heads Dustproof Cover Compatible with Oral B, Fits for Oral-B iO Series, Pro 1000, 1500, 5000, 7500 Electric Toothbrush, Protects Brush Head and Convenient Travel --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/1044515-oral-b-pro-100-precision-clean-battery-powered-electric-toothbrush](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/1044515-oral-b-pro-100-precision-clean-battery-powered-electric-toothbrush) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
