Can it handle Preload condition from weather seals on front door?

It will not unlock unless the pressure is released.

Is this compatible with Door bird intercom system?

I am not familiar with Door Bird intercom systems.

does anyone know if I can use this with a panic exit bar?

Normally, a panic exit bar has a surface mount latch. The Hes 5000 is not a surface mount lock. Usually, for a panic exit bar you would use a surface mount lock like a Hes 9600.

Second one in less than a year to break

I have now purchased two of these since April of 2024. They have lasted on average four months! I'm not sure what my other options are, but I'll be looking for other suppliers? There does not seem to be any support or customer service to help?
