WARNING: this phone takes a PROPRIETARY BATTERY (the Panasonic KX-A276 battery) THAT IS NO LONGER MADE BY TOSHIBA or by anyone else, as far as I can tell. Last time I looked, the only suitable battery anywhere on the internet was here on Amazon: New (1) from $494.47 + $5.49 shipping.
