CU009 Cucina Bread Knife, Silver

Recently purchased this 8” bread knife. It’s sturdy with a well-designed handle and the blade is very sharp. Been using it now for over a week and we are very happy with the purchase. Good value for money.

Very good knife. Does exactly what I want.

Very well priced for the quality of the knife. It cuts bread very easily, even soft bread with a hard crust (which many knives seem to tear rather than cut cleanly). The handle is just a little too small for me but you get used to it after a bit.

I purchased this recently and find that it works well. The handle is sturdy and the blade is sharp, cutting loaves of bread with ease. We make our own loaves of bread sometimes and this cut through even the crunchiest of crusts. 🥖

If you want a bread knife, this will do.

I own several Richardson knives and this is of the same quality and feel as the others. Like anything made of steel from Sheffield the blade is great quality and slices home made and store bought loaves into thin slices. Id previously been using a chef's knife to slice but this allows me to go thinner and straighter allowing me to get more out of a loaf, preventing it from ripping and I find making my bread last longer. The handle feels nice, I'm not certain that it's wood but it sits nicely in the hand and is comfortable to use. It's got a full tang which is essential for a good knife, unlike some imports. It also matches my two other Richardson knives (a chef's and santoku) in appearance which is a bonus. There's also a 15 year guarantee for if his ever breaks, which I doubt.

It looks very solid but the way it is packed is really bad

Excellent knife for the price. It feels strong and sharp enough to get a clean cut of bread. I am very happy with it. Compared to my old one, this one feels heavier and more precise with less mess.

Good bread knife...specialized...not that versatile.

Cannot cut freshly made bread. Waste of money.
