## Overview

FLEXTRIM #445 is a 12-foot flexible polyurethane casing molding, 11/16" thick and 3.25" wide, designed to fit gentle curves with a 100" radius or larger. It resists moisture, warping, and cracking, making it perfect for both interior and exterior use. Easily installed with standard woodworking tools and adhesives, it offers a durable, paint-ready finish that elevates architectural details with professional ease.

## Description

Conventional woodworking tools can be used with this material. Always install moulding in a relaxed position. Use construction or panel adhesive continuously on the backside and nails to secure moulding in place until adhesive bonds. Remember – do not use staples to fasten material, keep nails to a minimum (no closer than 6 inches between nails), and do not nail closer than 3/8 inch from edge of moulding. Flex Trim is stable and will not absorb moisture and is ideal for humid environments. It is not affected by heat or cold and can withstand extreme environments. ALWAYS lay out the material to let it relax back into its original shape; this is a good time to double-check molding style and application. NEVER pre-finish the material prior to installation. The material may flex during installation and cause fractures in the finish. ALWAYS make certain that the surface you are applying the material to is flat and smooth. Flexible molding will follow any irregularities in the surface. NEVER use staples or nails with large heads. Keep nails to a minimum and away from edges to avoid "bumps" at the edge. ALWAYS use a construction adhesive in conjunction with (or in lieu of) nails or screws. This will ensure a quick and easy application and a cleaner finished look. Let material warm up to room temperature for maximum flexibility.

FANTASTIC! This flexible moulding really adds an exceptional flair to my arched window. The quality and precisness of the trim is amazing. I purchased two arches; one 24-in wide and one 72-in wide arch. The 24-in arch was very easy to install by myself, but the 72-in was a little more difficult to handle by myself. The larger initially started out with my having the unattached end draped over my shoulder like an anaconda. I attached to surface with a bead of liguid nails and a few 18 ga brads x 2-in long. This product is awesome! When we built our house and ordered our windows, we were asked if we wanted to order the trim kit for our 2 large half rounds windows . At the time we weren’t sure what style of trim we wanted to use so we declined and that was a mistake. Ordering trim for those after they’re installed is a pain (requiring a template). We put it off for a long time and finally found this product, which is flexible and paintable. It really finished beautifully!
