GENKI Bluetooth Audio for The Nintendo Switch (Gray Button Version)

Nice little device that did as it described when I first got it. It quickly paired with my Sony WH1000-XM3 headphones and sounded great. Unfortunately this was short lived as the device refused to pair with anything after a couple of months of use. It eventually refused to light up or do anything no matter what button combinations I tried. It is now an expensive piece of rectangle plastic that sits in a drawer while I use a trusty old wire for my headphones.

Excellent piece of kit, just make sure your headphones have the low latency codec, it might still work if it doesnt but don't know if the audio will be in sync correctly. I have the skull and co case fitted so it doesn't fit flush but I wanted it to be hidden from view so I bought the U shaped kit £9.99 and used this with the genki and made a slight cut around the usb c area in the case ( about 3mm each side ) and it fits together perfectly.

Worth the money

I'm using this on my PS5 and it works amazingly. The lag is so small that you can't notice it on movies or gaming and the sound quality is excellent. It's very easy to set up and you can plug it into the back of the PS5 so it is not as noticeable.

Ordered GuliKit along with the Genki to see which one is better and I honestly couldn't believe how easy it is to use and connect to compared to the GuliKit adapter. It connects with my AirPods in seconds after I turn my Switch back on, the latency does exist but compared to GuliKit it is almost unnoticeable. It's never disconnected for me, and the design is also great. The fact that it sticks out so much from the Switch was annoying me at first as I felt uncomfortable placing it down onto my duvet or blanket but it seems absolutely fine if you are careful with it. Also, the fact that you can charge your Switch whilst still using the adapter is, once again, great but I do sometimes feel like the movement of it when plugged into the Switch could potentially damage the USB C port, so you have to be careful with that. I would certainly recommend spending a little extra on this adapter.

A great premium-priced accessory (or suite of accessories), lacking in no features comparatively. After deliberation between this, the HomeSpot adaptor (features great colours and codec indication, which is nice but could be researched in regards to your specific headphones), and the Ziocom adaptor (features clearance from the console for compatibility with grips/cases), I chose this adaptor because of its simple appearance, dual pairing, included mic, dock adaptor (for tv+headphone gaming), Bluetooth 5.0 standard, and - most importantly - sleek dimensions, on a hunch that it might be compatible with the wide USB-c opening on the JeTech ergonomic switch grip (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B07457V4XJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title; also recommended) after measurements. To my delight it fits, and the lag is imperceptible with my airpods pro (unless you're watching very closely instead of gaming), making it the perfect addition to my switch peripherals.

Produit conforme au descriptif. Fonctionne parfaitement avec les AirPods Pro. J’ai juste un peu galéré pour la toute première synchro mais rien de méchant car une fois celle-ci réalisée toutes les autres se font automatiquement sans aucun problème. Aucun soucis de latence non plus. J’enlève une étoile juste parce que normalement il est possible de coupler Bluetooth et câble d’alimentation afin de charger en même temps la console sauf que chez moi ça ne marche pas. Impossible de rentrer l’usb-c dans le trou prévu à cet effet. Pourtant j’ai le chargeur officiel Nintendo comme recommandé.

Pas compatible avec les micros des casques... Lorsque l'on met en charge cela coupe momentanément le son du casque sans fils.
