Works great
I installed this so I could have on-board air in my pickup for my horns & possible airing up a tire here and there if need be.It was a good replacement to my old one but it does make me a little nervous how hot the motor gets, but it just keeps going so I'm happy with it.

Can't select minus stars. This is junk! First the hose was leaking at the compression fitting then the hea cracked. And now the inside of the motor looks like my floor after grinding for a week.Don't buy, no help from manufacturing!

This was to replace my train horn compressor. It works perfectly. Price was amazing and performance was even better than I thought.

Stopped working no warranty
First unit worked but only to 112psi (claims 150psi). Amazon chose to send a replacement. Second unit same thing. Turns out that’s the pressure switch they put in these and the listing is false. Got over that kept the unit. 3 months later unit would not build pressure and blew the fuse. Not sure how long it was running before it blew the fuse but luckily did not burn my truck down. Contacted jdm speed. They said they wanted a video of the problem and order number. Both were sent several times. No follow up. It’s been weeks Can’t get them to respond. Amazon chat said they contacted the seller and they will get back to me. That was a few days ago. Good luck if you buy one. It’s not that much cheaper than getting a better brand or at least from a better seller

Compressor
We bought this unit mid December 2023 (3 months ago) and the compressor has gone bad already. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer but haven’t gotten any response.

Neat but...
I'll start with the good. I like the tank, I like the hardware that comes with it, and I like the price. It's not really that loud.The bad. The compressor gets pretty hot, it doesn't get enough pressure to cut itself off.My home-fix. I drilled a 1/4in hole in the side of the crankcase and filled it with a little bit of motor oil. It's way quieter, cooler and faster running. I even picked up an extra 20psi of air pressure just from the higher rpm. If I fix the air leak, it might make full pressure. I'll bet the low friction coating is garbage and that's what's killing these compressors.
