KYB Strut Boot Kits keep your struts protected from dirt, dust, sand, salt and other road debris. These harmful elements cause abrasive wear to the polished shaft, upper seal & bushing. KYB Strut Boot Kits prevent these contaminants from entering the strut by covering the entire strut shaft in a highly durable plastic bellows. This can easily extend the life of the strut. The KYB Strut Boot Kit includes a poly foam travel-limiting bumper. It’s designed to protect the strut from bottoming out and protects other components from extreme movement damage.

Review: Great quality. Hard plastic seems cheap, but actually works better. - People are freaking out because this boot is harder plastic, rather than being rubber, but so far (2 years) it's lasted really well and fits better than the original rubber one did. I think it's an improvement over the classic rubber design-- just flexible enough to work well, instead of flopping all over the place like an old sock... :)
Review: It's not a direct fit, but it works well - I used two of these boots on my Mazda Rx8 front McPherson struts. I used them with Bilstein struts, I cut the OEM boot off right at the taper below the Suspension support/ head, and fed this boot into and on the new strut, it fit perfectly. The bump stop that came with this boot seemed to have a better constitution than the one from Bilstein so I used it instead.

**Q: Does it come with the rubber bump stop?**
A: It does come with a bump stop made out of off-white poly foam (not rubber)

**Q: Do i need this strut boot for the complete Sensen Shock Struts (i.e both the front and the rear)?**
A: On our Subaru, there were boots on both the front and rear. Use new boots, they are cheap, I found a torn boot on one of the originals. They are going to protect the shaft from dirt and damage.

A: if its for Nissan 240, 260, 280z's the boot you need is sb103. hope that helps
