BlenderBottle Classic Loop Top Shaker Bottle, 28-Ounce, Clear/Red

We've used Camelback bottles for years but I needed a bottle that was far easier to clean for using with nutritional shakes. We love the blender bottle so much we've nearly said good bye to the Camelback bottles, even for water.I like to mix Vega One or VeganSmart or similar nutritional shake in my bottle. My husband uses either chocolate flavored nutritional shakes in his, or when he thinks I'm not looking he sneaks in Country Time lemonade powder! Thanks to the patented Blender Ball, I also add in greek yogurt, peanut butter even apple sauce! I have a blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ground cloves that I use for a special snack that I make, it's superb to add to the Vanilla flavored nutritional shakes, too!The website has some great recipes, far more than smoothies! I love the salad dressing recipes so we bought another Blender Bottle to make and store homemade salad dressing though I use apple cider vinegar with the mother and kombucha tea in our modified recipe, as well as a dash of hemp oil.Remember when I mentioned by husband adds Country Time Lemonade to his blender bottle? Well I found a nifty idea. We buy supplement powders here on Amazon - 100% pure pharmaceutical grade free of fillers. I have blended a special container of lemonade powder to which I've added a small amount of supplemental powders including magnesium citrate, d-Ribose and a tad bit of alpha lipoic acid. Combined, this has become an AMAZINGLY powerful refresher in those hot summer months, especially.The Blender Bottle came with a tab that offered a few recipes, including: orange juice with softened ice cream (Orange Dream Shake) or milk with peanut butter and chocolate protein powder (Peanut Butter Cup Protein Shake), or raspberry yogurt with half n half milk and cranberry juice along with vanilla protein powder (Classic Smoothie). BlenderBottle also suggested adding the following to nutritional shakes: ground oatmeal, peanut butter, fruit juice, applesauce, cocoa powder, yogurt or cinnamon. I like to add a combination of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ground cloves particularly in winter.I also have begun making up a batch of chia seed, country time lemonade powder, taurine, magnesium citrate with a tad bit of sea salt for a powerfully effective electrolyte blast on these hot summer days. I keep this mixture in a canning jar and just pour some in when I'm refilling my blender bottle.Happy Blending!

Another update 6.13.18: I no longer try to open the top part of this - the part that you'd put a straw threw or sip - I instead just unscrew the top after shaking it and then put a straw in it. It's almost impossible for me to open. I'm disappointed in that. Hence only 3 stars. I've had this almost 3 weeks now though and otherwise - it's pretty durable and it does shake the mixture well given the metal ball.I wanted to edit the below; I noticed that it was really hard to push the button closed on the top and then to pull it open - very frustrating. I am hoping with time it will be easier to open and close. It also dripped a little when I shook it. I'll keep you posted if it gets easier to open/close.So, I ordered spirulina on here and while it's good for me, it is really messy - it's so fine that when I open the top of it, a dust drifts up to me. When I used the spirulina in my blender, it went all over the place; got clumpy and I feel like I wasted a lot of it. So, I went online and looked at shaker bottles and this one had good reviews. I got it a few days ago (5.30.18) and decided to add a tablespoon of spirulina, 1 teaspoon of maca and 1 of Acai plus about 12 ounces of water. While the taste was not great (I'm working on adding a bit of sugar via cranberry juice), it mixed up great and did not leak. I attached pics of it in the shaker bottle as well as in a glass. I also put the bottle up agaist my witchazel and deodorant to give you an idea of the size. It's a perfect size for me, price and the shaker ball in it really helps. Plus it's BPA free!

I've used this shaker for close to 2 years now. I honestly love everything about this shaker.It's light, easy to clean, and super easy to mix any sort of supplements (including thicker protein shakes such as casein). However, one downside to this shaker is that if you don't clean it right away, the smell from the supplement will linger on for a long time. Hot water from a dishwasher does clean it well but the smell is still hard to get rid of.

Expensive, but it does the trick. I wanted a measuring cup, that would hold 3 cups, fit in the dishwasher, and not take up half the cupboard when not in use.I searched and searched, but could not find one I liked, so I started noticing the one of these my husband uses for his power shakes, and I liked the shaker ball and pour spout, so I got one.It holds 3 full cups (and already has markings up to 2 cups) , so I just darkened the marks with a magic marker, and viola, I have a 3 Cup Measuring cup, with easy to read marks (in Cups Only - no metrics), and it fits in the cupboard and dishwasher fine. I'd have preferred a handle, but this will do.Bonus, I get the shaker ball and pour spout for crepes or pancakes, and never have to dirty a bowl or beaters. Yay!

My girlfriend bought this for me and I didn't really have very high -or any- expectations of using it but surprisingly it works pretty good for my use. I use it to mix protein shakes, the ones where you add powder and milk or water and some crushed ice. Before I'd use a fork and there'd be chunks on the bottom and it'd get stuck on the glass and my girlfriend would get mad at me because this stuff never comes off in the dish washer. This shaker I just throw everything in shake it up and it's good to go. Then rinse it out and it's ready for tomorrow. Plus, since I only have one, I clean it after every use.

Pretty solid blender bottle. I bought this item for $9 originally (the shipment never showed up so they sent another) but for that price its a pretty solid water bottle. The seal is pretty good for shaking it up, as long as the lid has clicked closed, and it's twisted well no water should come out when shaking it. The metal ball works pretty well at mixing the protein and makes it super easy to clean. You can honestly put a drop of soap in, and some hot water and just shake it clean. Which is very nice. Fits a good amount in it, has a cheap price and does what its supposed to. So overall zero regrets here! Being using it for a couple months now and no problems

I love this blender! The ball really works on thin powders. If you are trying to mix up thick powders this will not do the job. But I have a meal replacement in the morning that is very thin and it works like a charm. Great quality. I recommend.

Yep, it's a Blender Bottle. It blends. In a bottle. Works great for protein shakes.

Very nice bottle. Plastic is not maleable and does not leave a taste or a smell.This bottle can be put in your bad and it will not warp or leak at all.Good capacity and good price.
