Love this product. Really helps with my thyroid issue. Great bargain for the cost.

My bottle arrived intact and works well. Tastes like the way moth balls smell. Not sure if it's placebo effect but my energy level and mood improved within a few uses. This is not a reflection on the product or seller but I noticed people are taking several drops. I started off with two per day and quickly moved to 3. However, after researching on the net, this is way too much. Perhaps because it's being pushed by influencers and it results in more sales if we go through more product but you can really hurt yourself taking too much. I am going to dial my dosage back to once drop just twice a week. Here's some info I found on the net: Dosing Lugol’s iodine can be rather tricky, because a couple of the thyroid “experts” have recommended as many at 20 drops per day. Let’s do some math, here. If using Lugol’s 2%, there are about 2.5 MILLIGRAMS (mg) of iodine in each drop. The RDA is 150 MICROGRAMs (mcg) per day. How do these 2 compare? Let’s begin with the basics: 1 mg = 1000 mcg; you read that correctly. 1 MILLIGRAM is the same amount as one THOUSAND MICROGRAMS. The recommended daily intake of iodine is 150 mcg, NOT 150 mg. Dosing just 1 drop of Lugol’s 2% provides 2.5 MG of iodine – that is 2500 mcg of iodine PER DROP – meaning that just 1 drop of Lugol’s 2% iodine provides a dose nearly 17 TIMES the recommended daily allowance. Now remember when I mentioned that some experts have published recommendations to take up to 20 drops per day??? Taken over weeks to months to years, this CAN result in overdosing of iodine, which CAN and DOES impact thyroid health, and can contribute to multiple problems including thyroid damage and liver stress.

Great product to have on hand. Heals quickly: scratches any skin abresion etc. Also for internal use.

Important part of your diet when you avoid processed or heat an eat foods. When cooking foods we use a quality sea salt that is without the iodine additive

I've been really happy with this liquid iodine. It's easy to take, has very little taste, and has become part of my daily routine. Since I started using it, I've noticed an improvement in my overall energy and well-being. I'm using it as part of my efforts to support my thyroid health, and so far I've had a positive experience. The dropper makes it easy to measure, and the bottle has lasted a long time. I'll definitely keep purchasing it.

My wife is hypothyroid, and I became interested in her condition when her doctors struggled to get her thyroid to respond to various medications. I searched hypothyroidism on the web, and one of the things that popped up was iodine. I read the various articles about it, and the reviews here on Amazon, and decided to order this. My wife agreed to try it, and I figured I'd do the same, just to see If it made me feel better. We decided to take 5 drops (12.5 mg) each day and see if we noticed any effects. While my wife reported no improvement after a week, I experienced much more energy and alertness immediately after starting. But the real surprise for me was the vast improvement of some skin conditions I've had for many years that my dermatologist prescribed medication for, but could only slow the progression. The itching stopped immediately, and the patches of thick and callused skin on one of my palms started showing improvement, as did the eczema patch on one knee. It's been three weeks now, and the eczema patch on my knee, which had grown to over 5 inches in diameter, is now less than 2 inches. It has changed from a maroon color to a normal skin color,and is still shrinking each day. The problem on my hand also appears to be heading toward full resolution. I'm dumbfounded! How could my doctors overlook something as simple as a nutritional deficiency? I've worried about this condition and spent considerable money over the years trying to control it since I was told that was the best I could hope for. Something is terribly wrong with western medicine for something like this to occur. Update 9-23-09: It's been over two months since I started taking this. The skin improvements stopped short of total resolution, but the improvements described in my review are still present. I am VERY happy. Update 11-23-10: When I wrote the above comments, I didn't know it, but I still had one more surprise coming: For the last 15 years I've had four toenails that looked terrible due to fungus. Now, more than a year later, you can see in the nails where I began taking the iodine; the new growth looks healthy and normal. At the present growth rate, the bad part of the nails should be totally gone within a few more months.

I stumbled on the info on this and how beneficial it is on YouTube and I’m so so happy I did wow what a difference ..first I tried it mixed with some caster oil and applied topically to my fibrosis chest and stomach and the inflammation went down overnight now I take it orally and my hair skin nails and sleep has improved drastically. I’m so convinced I now give it to our whole household including pets. Our dog is calmer and laps it up in his water no problem. His skin and fur is shiny and has more energy too..our cats are shiny hairy fur balls now. My 17 yr old son had a bad gut and mucus issues and is now healed my daughter’s acne is gone . Like why in the world are doctors not advocating this ! I’m hooked and so thankful
