Expedition Scout Men's 40 mm Watch

Initial impression good. I've heard people complain about loud ticking in Timex Expedition watches but this one (Expedition Scout) is practically silent. At a few inches from the ear it's audible but quiet. Anything much over a foot I can't hear it at all. The indiglo feature is excellent. Very easy to read in the dark. This combined with the 50m waterproofing should make it a good, practical field watch well-suited to outdoors activities including camping. Pick the right colour/design option and it will also work for smart-casual wear. The day-of-the-month window is tiny; if you use reading glasses you will need them to read the number. But at least it's there. Not going to complain given the price. Good value. A budget analogue dial is so much nicer than a digital watch.

I have a small watch collection, including an Apple and a few more expensive ones. So I was looking for an inexpensive watch that I didn’t have to worry about when I’m doing gardening and other projects. At the same time, I wanted one that didn’t feel plasticky and unsatisfying to wear. I’m glad to recommend that the Timex Expedition fits the bill perfectly. Nicely weighted brass case (which feels substantial and much more expensive than it is), and a very crisp dial, I’m happy to wear it on any occasion. My wrist is about 19-20cm and the leather strap supplied fits me perfectly. With numerous colours to choose from, you can’t go wrong for a no nonsense but handsome daily watch.

It appears to keep time and that is all I ask from it

I bought this for everyday wear as a solid simple watch, reasonably priced, that does not have be removed when working. It's a great, really good looking watch and feels well made nice solid metal case with a quality leather strap. Easy to read.

Looks nice and fits well. Easy to read, even in the dark and so far no problems at all. The leather wristband is very comfortable and doesn't sweat.

Lovely watch better than expected

My husband wanted a watch for his 60th birthday. So here I am looking at something smart and posh. He rejected everyone and asked for this. It’s an old style basic Timex which he loves. The face is very clear. The strap Is a decent length. Best part of much much much cheaper than the ones I was looking at.

Love this watch & should have purchased it years ago The beige dial is just great, nice tan leather strap, my fave Timex.

Budget friendly yet reliable watch. Good as daily watch.

Esprit outdoor sport vraiment bien sympa avec cette montre. Par contre j'ai plutôt des poignets très fins pour un homme et pour moi c'est la taille limite, je mets la photo pour expliquer. Le bracelet n'est pas en cuir mais en matière qui imite en surface le daim ou l'alcantara. Je pense que ce sera plus résistant que le cuir notamment à la sueur et à l'humidité. Très beau rendu global. Le système de vision du cadran luminescent dans la nuit (indiglo) marche très bien.

Świetny zegar za małe pieniążki. Taki klasyk. Kiedyś dawno temu miałem podobnego Timexa i bardzo go lubiłem. Tarcza bardzo czytelna w dzień +indiglo w nocy. Zmieniłem pasek na vintage. Zamówiony w sobotę a w poniedziałek o 12 w południe już do odbioru także polecam

Gut lesbar, gefällt mir optisch sehr, Beleuchtung perfekt. Gut zu wissen: Ganz schön schwer am Handgelenk. Für den Preis eine klare Empfehlung.
