Review: I couldn't be more pleased! If you rehab or just need a kitten to drink! Buy This it Works! - WOW, I am rehabbing a 3 months old abandoned starving Tortico kitten with head/brain trauma and semi-blindness my vet and I are pleasantly surprised has survived even with the severity of her situation. Feeding times have always included added water to her wet pate because she never touches her water bowl. That is until now! Believe me I was sceptical I mixed up her kitten-lyte as per the instruction, set it down just before putting down her first meal of the day and she will drink 4 oz without lifting her head, before she moved over to her meal! Hazzah! Since then about 3 days ago no more adding water to her meals, just fresh kitten-lyte in the morning and topping it off during the day simple and easy! She is drinking in-between her meals and has become less ravenous about her food I am assuming because of the ingredients in it and how it is helping her body recover from malnutrition. Yes this product is pricey but for "Urbie" and myself it is priceless! Many Thanks for such a great product!
Review: Saved the babies life - So I fostered a lot and the first time I bought this I had 3 week kittens who had lost their mom. About 5 weeks in, one just stopped wanting to eat. He was to young to deworm, he needed to go another 2 weeks or gain weight before I could. So I put this and water out for him, he would drink this over water that hole time. I dont think he would have made it without this as he would have just gotten weaker and weaker, this his would take on his own, but nothing else. I think anyone that fosters needs to have this in their emergency kit for sick kittens/cats. BTW he did bounce back after de-worming, he is now 2+ years and good size/weight. This does have a strong chicken smell and looks bright yellow. The color helps you to tell if they pee since their pee is bright. That helped me keep tabs on if he was drinking enough fluids to pee. Now I have also used this for others adult cats when under the weather.

A: Yes...you can mix it into a milk replacement and you can also mix it into water. Pretty much can be mixed with anything to help boost their electrolytes.

A: This is an electrolyte supplement, used for helping crashing kittens or dehydrated kittens. If you are looking for something to boost the immune system, look for L-Lysine. It works well to help bolster the immune system in all age ranges of cats.

**Q: How long does this last after opening?**
A: Lasts until its gone as long as it is stored in a dry area.

**Q: How many oz. of mixed fluid does a container make?**

Great for dehydrated babies. I use it when bottle babies get diarrhea, I replace the water with kittenlyte to mix the KMR and it is a life saver!!! This is a must have! Kittens immune systems are so sensitive, homemade or store bought pedialyte solution doesn’t have the proper balance of electrolytes for a kitten and is dangerous to use. This is a must have for neonatal fosters.
